Maria Nila Color Refresh Bright Copper (Review)

0

It's been a while since I dyed my hair a little more copper-autumnal on Creative Zone, and the reddish copper tone has had time to drop a lot since then, which is a bit of a shame as I have realized that I really thrive in a slightly redder tone! Red is a typical color that likes to let go of the hair + is neutralized if you, like me, have very metal-rich water.

Therefore, I was extra happy when I got a press test on Maria Nila's news Color Refresh which is a colorful hair wrap that gives much more intense color than many wraps do. If you are completely blonde, you get the color you buy simply and can, for example, become completely red-haired, but you apply it as a hair wrap and the color lasts for about 10 washes.

A perfect product if you want to test a new hair color before coloring it permanently, or if you want a new hair color just for the moment, or as I do now - just renew and color boost the hair color I already have.

I have used the shade Bright Copper on my hair which is available for purchase HERE for SEK 249!

Bright copper contains light copper pigments, and you can even mix these wraps with each other! If you want even more red hair, you can e.g. mix Bright copper with the shade Autumn red.

Do this:
Shower your hair with shampoo
Towel dry your hair
Apply the hair wrap. let work for 3-10 minutes
Rinse your hair
Finish with conditioner

The cream is really bright red! So you should wear towels, which is included, at least when you shop from Eleven.se. It was easy to apply, but not very expensive but I needed a lot for my thick hair.

The wrap should work for 3-10 minutes and I had in it for 10 minutes. The hair felt really smooth afterwards! Here is the result:

I love the new color my hair got, it was just the way I wanted it! However, the result is quite uneven, I really tried to get it evenly distributed so it must be my hair that wanted to suck on looks more in some places. It will probably get better when I have showered it again, and then I thought to mix in a little in my conditioner once too so maybe it will be more even later:) I will return with a final review!

Next time I dye my hair, I will continue on this red trail, although maybe make more blonde shifts, like in front of the face and in the tops. What do you think about that?

Hugs are!

Hello everyone!

I sit here and take a break from all the fixing and donating. We have refurnished and reorganized in my warehouse so that it will be easier for the sister to pack orders, because in 2 weeks Miska and I will go abroad for two weeks and then it is Mallan who takes care of the webshop! :)

Now there is a little finishing touches left before we are completely done with everything, and then I will wedge home and photograph my hair because I have experimented with a colored hair wrap that was very successful, so I have to show you!

For now, I wonder a little what you want to see more of here in the blog? It has decreased a bit readers since I changed portal, not everyone has kept up with the turns and above all, Google has not kept up because all google searches of course lead to Imakeyousmile when people are looking for make-up tips. But at the same time I notice in comments and emails that it has fallen in some new readers as well, so I will be very happy if I can get some feedback on what you think of the blog and want to see more of? More party make-up or waddling make-up, product reviews or maybe private posts? Or are you 100% happy maybe? ; )

Anyway, I wish you a wonderful Sunday! I will return shortly with my hair post.

Light pink makeup - (Romantic / Date)

I have wanted to do this make-up for quite some time, but have not done so because it is quite boring if you can say so about a make-up:) Boring to show is perhaps a better word choice, it is very everyday and easy quite simply.

But this light pink eye shadow is so nice that I could not help it! Many light pink eye shadows are either quite bright in color, or so bright and opium-rich that they on my light skin tone blend into the skin more than looking light pink. But the eye shadow in Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow trio in shade 686 is perfectly light pink so that it is pigment-rich but still very light, and the matte silky smooth surface makes it even nicer!

I have applied this light pink eye shadow around the entire eye, and then applied Annika's Favorite Shadow (light and shimmery) in the corner of the eye and under the brow to emphasize the matte, pink a little extra. Then I complemented the everyday look with brown eyeliner and brown mascara!

Light Pink Makeup - (Romantic / Date)

Lipstick (nude and light nude) - Paese Argan Oil Lipstick in shades 17 and 35.

Light pink eye shadow around the whole eye, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow Trio in shade 686.
Bright, shimmery eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
Brown eyeliner along the upper lash line, Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in the shade Soft Brown (has also filled in the brows with this)
Brown mascara on the upper lashes, Yves Rocher Volume Mascar (02 Brown)

Hugs are!

Permanent makeup / cosmetic tattoo

0

I got two comments about my makeup tattoos the other day when I showed a makeup without lip makeup, fun!

"Hello! know I read before that you did an eyebrow tattoo? do you still have it? ”

Have you tattooed your lips? If so, what made you decide for it and do you have before and after picture of it as well as with your fine eyebrows?

I have noticed that some new readers have fallen in with my blog change, so I thought I would make a new post about this! Do not hope that my old readers find me annoying? :)

Permanent makeup, cosmetic tattoo or 3D tattoo are different names for this. You thus tattoo make-up on the face, and the tattoo color is made to fade away because the face, the colors (hair and skin) and the taste change with age. Had my eyebrows not faded away, they might have been sitting down by the eyelids when I'm old and you do not want that. How long the tattoo lasts depends on age and skin type, but can also be affected by metabolism, weather, skin care products and sun. Normal shelf life for eyebrows is about 1-5 years, 2-5 years for lips and 5-8 years for eyeliner. If you use white paint for so-called "inliner", the result will be permanent, because white does not fade. To maintain the intensity of the tattoo, it is recommended that you top up at intervals of a few years.

So the answer is yes to both questions, I have both eyebrow tattoo and lip tattoo, as well as eyeliner! All are made on Creative Make Up in Uppsala. The whitest thing when doing such a thing is to go to a professional, there are many who do permanent makeup on the side of another job, e.g. nail and skin care salons. But it goes without saying that a person who works with permanent makeup full time gets much more experience, and that is exactly what Annika at Creative Make Up does!

Now, I do not claim that those who do this on the side of other things are not good, but I want to emphasize that you must be careful about who you go to, there are very many who are actually unserious and not good at all. Annika gets many horror examples for the salon that she has to correct, people who have become dissatisfied in other places because they chose a salon based on price and not quality.

Here are pictures of my tattoos!

Hahaha I just have to start by showing these pictures of how swollen I became after the return visit with my lips! I barely got swollen at all the first time, but after the return visit I looked like a duck! We had filled in parts of the contour where a little extra was needed, plus the highlighter that we had not done on the first visit. The swelling subsided after a lucky day :)

This is what the lips looked like right after the tattoo, the first visit, and then they started flaking, which all tattoos do when they heal. It did not hurt at all when it healed, but it was very hard with such flaky lips! It passed after 4 days I think it was.

Here is after healing. I decided to tattoo my lips mainly because I wanted them to look fuller. Annika has tattooed outside the contour and made them larger, mainly on the sides, to get a larger and rounder shape. My shape before was more straight, which makes the mouth look flatter and "strict". I have a little more open mouth on the before picture, so the difference does not look as big on these pictures as it actually is!

In addition, I have added highlighter in the middle of the lips and outside the contour, which gives the lips a fuller and more fluffy impression!

You have seen the eyebrows quite recently, so I probably do not need to present them much more than this. But here comes the before and after image of my eyes:

Everything is done in the same salon and what I have done is:
Black lashliner on the upper lash line.
White inliner along the waterline.
Brown lashliner on the lower lash line.
Colored and permanent eyelashes.

Lashliner is thus a line exactly where the lashes sit, an eyelash marking as it is also called. It is called an eyeliner if you make a wider line, which you can also tattoo if you want!

None of the tattoos hurt when you use anesthetic cream, but it still feels a little and at the eyes it is a little uncomfortable but it did not hurt at all, except that the anesthesia stings a little in the eyes.

I'm so glad I did all this! Had I not had make-up as an interest, I would undoubtedly have made a wider eyeliner, highlighter in the corner of the eye and then supplemented with eyelash extensions. Understand how fast your morning routines would go!

For those of you who are hungry for this, I can tell you that you get a 10% discount from Annika if you enter the discount code "Imakeyousmile", it is a discount code I have flirted with you as Annika and I know each other well and have done a lot work together! :) Kika in Creative Make Ups Facebook page for more pictures!

Final in Tendenz Stylist Award!

0

Now it's finally time for the final of the Tendenz Stylist Award! I have been involved in making up all the pictures, so it's a little extra fun that we went to the final and even though 3rd is also a good placement, I of course keep my fingers crossed that Monica will take home the first place! :)

The winner is chosen 50% by a jury, but 50% is voting so I will be very happy if you want to go in and vote for Monica Werner! click here to vote and check out the contributions of others! It is super easy to vote, you just click on who you are voting for and do not have to enter your name, Facebook or anything complicated.

The last theme is Extravagance, ie "excessive luxury" and I do not think Monica needs to explain how she thought with the theme because it is quite clear in the picture; ) Here is our final picture!

Hairdresser: Monica Werner
Photographer: Angelica Klang
Makeup artist: Me
Model: Lisen Perols

Nice huh? The hair is really wonderful! This is first and foremost a hairdressing competition and the jury judges 60% on just the hair, and it's lucky Monica has really succeeded!

And instead of behind the scenes pictures that I usually offer, you get a whole movie from the day instead! It is Monica's video interview that all finalists have done before the final week, and there you will see what it is like for me to work on such fun shots :)

Niklas Lundengård is the photographer who has filmed all day from beginning to end. 8 hours became 2 minutes of film, it really is a full day on projects like this! Just getting in the colored lens in the eye took a quarter of an hour hahaha.

Have a wonderful Friday night everyone!
