Megan Fox Makeup Tutorial

It was a long time since I did a celebrity-inspired make-up, so I took it today!

One of the most popular celebrity make-up people ask for is Megan Fox, which is not so strange because she is really drop dead gorgeous! Megan Fox often has very intense make-up that highlights the eyes, and I have therefore chosen to do one today:)

This makeup is one of my favorites! Bright eyelids, an intense cat eye shape that is not faded so far out of the eye, sharp eyebrows, a lot of blush and bright lips.

1. Light gray eye shadow on the entire eyelid and in the corner of the eye, Byher 40 palette.
2. Brown eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and a little along the globe line, Paese Kashmir Trio Eyeshadow (shade 864)
3. Fade the edges.
4. The same brown eye shadow along the lower lash line.
5. Black eye shadow outer part of the eyelid and lower lash line, Paese Kashmir Matte Black Eyeshadow.
6. Black eyeliner along the upper lash line, Paese Linea Automatic Eyeliner.
White eyeliner along the waterline, Paese Eye Pencil White.
7. Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara.

The lipstick is Paese Argan Oil Lipstick in shade no. 17.

6 common makeup problems and how to solve them!

3

There are some recurring questions about basic makeup that I get at regular intervals, questions that are usually based on various problems where the person does not know what he is doing wrong. So now I thought I would answer common makeup problems in a post! :)

6 common makeup problems

Below I list 6 common makeup problems.

1. How do I hide my visible pores?

When you apply foundation by just applying a layer over the face, it is as if you apply a light edge along each pore, which emphasizes them and makes them look deeper and darker.

The most important thing to keep in mind is to work the products properly into the skin! Circulating movements and preferably a little dabbling as well, back and forth several times, so that you really buffer your foundation into all the skin's small irregularities. Then the make-up will blend in with the skin more, you will not have to use as much foundation and the result will be both nicer, smoother and more natural!

If you have such visible pores that this tip is not enough, then a face primer for oily skin may be recommended, or a primer that is only there to even out pores, e.g. Flawless & Poreless primer from Pixi (adlink).

2. My foundation gets cakey, what am I doing wrong?

Three common reasons are that your foundation is either of poor quality, old or does not fit your skin. But most often it is because you apply "wrong" and too much. With the foundation I use, it is almost impossible to get a cakey result because it is so light on the skin, but using less foundation and working it into the skin more is usually the problem solution to this! Or change foundation.

You will find all foundations here (adlink), read reviews and properties to find the best one for you!

3. How do I make the basic make-up last all day?

Common make-up problems such as basic make-up do not last all day.

Many people are satisfied with the basic make-up immediately after application, but for various reasons it is not as nice all day. If you have worked your foundation into the skin properly and done everything you should, it usually depends on your own skin.

If you are dry, you can experience that your foundation "falls off" during the day. What you can do then is to moisturize properly before application so that it really adheres to the skin. You can also moisturize the skin during the day by using moisturizing spray, which you just spray over the makeup at regular intervals. If you use a liquid foundation, I recommend an oil-based one.

If you are the opposite, oily in the skin, the basic make-up can either "melt away" or become cakey during the day. This is due to the oil that your skin produces that fights with your foundation from the inside and causes it to slip / move. Powder your face at regular intervals so that you fix your foundation and soak up the oil. If you use a liquid foundation, I recommend one water-based.

In both cases, one can face primer be a good idea, on a dry skin the primer makes the primer apply better and on an oily skin the primer reduces the oiliness and also where it is in place.

You can find face primers here (adlink), read reviews and properties to find the best one for you!

4. I apply blush and bronzer as you should, but it still gets uneven and ugly.

This is one such point that first and foremost requires good products and brushes, but then it is knowledge and practice that counts.

An uneven result is often obtained due to having too much on the brush. If, for example, you want a lot of blush on the cheeks, it is better to take a little at a time and build up a nice shade. Dab the brush into the blush / sun powder and then tap the shaft lightly against the palm of your hand and all the excess powder that had settled unevenly on the skin disappears.

If your blush / shading became uneven, it is quite easy to correct with a kabuki brush that you have applied foundation with if you use mineral make-up, massage all uneven edges with it and it will usually even out. If it is extremely uneven, you can also have a little more foundation on the kabuki brush.

Take a look at all the brushes here! (adlink) Available in different price ranges and variations! :)

5. How do I avoid getting a sharp make-up edge between my face and neck?

The main reason for this is the wrong shade of its foundation. But despite the right shade, it is always a little different on the face and neck because a make-up complexion has a slightly different surface and reflects light differently.

Therefore, you should always put a little make-up on the neck and décolleté if you want the perfect result - do not forget the ears if you have short hairstyles / set hair!

In addition, it is a good idea (both if you put make-up with foundation down on the neck or not) to apply your shading there as well. If you shade the jawbone and down the sides of the neck, and maybe the collarbones as well, there will be so many different shades mixed together that you do not think so much that it will be a "line", but then it will be more like natural shadows.

6. The basic make-up "sticks" in the facial complexion and makes them stand out, how do I prevent this?

My best tip when it comes to this is to apply the make-up in the direction of the scalp, then they lie down and mix together in the make-up easier than if you mess with them with the make-up brush and make your foundation lie like a tube along the straw instead of just a side.

Spraying the make-up with a moisturizing spray is also recommended, then the powdery feeling around the straws will disappear!

PUSS on is!

Organic acne cream

I love organic products and organic acne cream is one of them!

During my teens, I had quite a lot problems with pimples (that's why I started putting on so much make-up at an early age and became 'self-taught') makeup artist“Before I left high school, something positive came out of the negative hehe) and I still have periods when I get a lot of pimples.

In other words, I have tested a lot of different creams and the like for pimples, and can say that spot treatment creams basically never work for me! Very many of them are strong and even to dry out the skin, which does not feel particularly smart…

So when I started using Sanctum and their topical cream for pimples, I was very happy, because it helps for real and it does so by soothing, healing and at the same time moisturizing the skin!

On The Spot contains lots of good ingredients such as aloe vera, macadamia oil and avocado oil. But these three ingredients are the ones that are most active against the pimples:
Tea tree oil - Soothing, antibacterial and healing.
Vitamin E - Moisturizes and promotes cell renewal.
Licorice extract - Anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

Tea tree oil is the oil that gives the cream its relatively strong but still natural and fresh scent, the cream smells quite strong of wood so that it almost becomes a bit of a tiger balm feeling. I like the scent but it's lucky you should not have it all over your face if you say so.

Tea tree oil is known for its calming and healing effect and is mainly used for acne, insect bites and itching. From my own experience I can also tell you that it is great on wasp stings! My sister stepped on a wasp this summer and screamed and screamed (she is not sensitive to pain, she does not even want anesthesia when she tattoos her eyebrows because she thinks it is unnecessary) but then she really suffered so I ran quickly and picked it up cream, and about two seconds after I smeared the evil area on her foot, it stopped hurting! Both me and my sister were completely shocked haha! So it is a proof of how soothing and fast-acting the cream is:)

This is how I walk around at home in the morning when I am newly awake, unmade up and rough.

Above all, the On The Spot cream is important in the morning because it is often when I want to soothe the pimples properly before I start putting on make-up, but I also use it in the evening when I feel it is needed. It is especially good for bad pimples that have flared up properly, then you really feel that the irritated pimple calms down and stops hurting so much.

I use it on all my pimples, both large and small, but the small ones always disappear relatively quickly, so there it is difficult to immediately say a difference. But on the big annoying stress fins that I have a tendency to get, real inboarders, there I can definitely say that this is the savior in need!

Organic Acne Cream, On The Spot.

On The Spot contains 100% natural ingredients, of which 86% are organically certified. The entire package is biodegradable in nature within 5 years, the vegan and certified by Organic Food Chain Australia. And of course not tested on animals.

Highly recommended! :)

Makeup tutorial

There are a lot of autumn make-ups here in the blog now, because I have extreme cozy-autumn feelings at the moment! You know the way you love and really enjoy the season in the beginning, before you have had time to get tired and long for the next one:) A bit like being new, stuck in the autumn leaves, the darkness, knitted sweaters, lit candles and mystics without foot sweat!

In other words, I take the opportunity to do autumn-inspired make-up before my cozy feelings change to colorful rainbow make-up to "liven up this dark season" hehe:)

Hope you do not get tired of my autumn make-up before I get tired of autumn!

Dark and light eye shadows

0

Many people want to put on more make-up with dark and intense eye shadows, but that is not the case only to do it but you have to feel good-looking too, which is not always easy when you are above.

My tip is then to dare to use that dark eye shadow that you like so much, and dare to paint the waterline dark for such nicely intense eyes, but also use light eye shadows which then light up the whole and make it easier for you to thrive in your makeup :)

Brighten up these parts of the eyes for maximum effect:
In the middle of the eyelid
In the middle of the lower lash line
In the corner of the eye
Under the eyebrow

And feel free to choose an eye shadow that is not as dark when you apply along the globe line, something in between the light and dark colors will be good!

Here is an example of such a make-up so you see the details I mean:

A very dark look that also contains a lot of light.

Do you want to see more pictures of the make-up and know which products I have used? Here you will find my previous post about it!

Hugs are!
