Fake glasses

0

I had a period before when I was very into fake glasses (or clear glasses which is the right word). It's so heavenly nice with glasses so even we who do not have bad eyesight must have the chance to wear a nice pair of glasses :) Then whether it is with or without strength, it does not really matter!

However, I have not used it that much, although I think it is nice, because I never got used to wearing them. I who am not used to glasses think that it feels unpleasant to wear it indoors because it feels like I am wearing sunglasses haha, so I take them off unknowingly as soon as I am not outdoors!

But now I have started to learn and have used it every day this week just to practice :)

It is a superb complement to makeup too! Unmade-up eyes, colorful lips and glasses - super nice! Or a party make-up for everyday that becomes more neat and everyday immediately with a pair of glasses on. And I generally think that an unmade-up person does not look un-made-up if he is wearing glasses! Do you agree with me?

Tips on sides with stylish glasses without strength are Extraoptical.se and saltopeppar.se. Extra Optical sells glasses with strength and has a lot of nice frames to choose from, and you can also choose without strength if you want and then it will not be as expensive as a pair of regular glasses. Salto peppers do not sell with strength at all, but only clear glasses, they are not as luxurious and do not have as large a range, but are significantly cheaper with prices between SEK 100-150.

I get a lot of praise for these, they are from Extra Optical and you will find them here!

What do you think of glasses without strength? Elevator or diss? :)

Green hair?

Yesterday I was at the hairdresser (Lynn on Creative Zone, she's cruel!) and got really good autumn hair! But Lynn had to fight really hard to get the hair color nice, and "thanks" to this problem, I got tips and advice that I was going to share with you! :)

This is because many people have very metal-rich water from their taps, e.g. therefore you should always take cold water from the tap when cooking (even if it is to be boiled) because hot water can dissolve copper from the pipes more than a cold water.

But when you shower, you use hot water directly from the tap, which means that some households get large amounts of metals in the shower water! These metals dry out the hair, which is not good for anyone, but it can also make the hair green and grayish and I had both of the side effects on my hair. That it is also a little extra difficult to get the color to stick to a bleached hair, it did not make things easier for poor Lynn hehe.

Here are the tips I got from her:

Let the water run for a while before jumping into the shower. And if you do not want to be so environmentally unfriendly, you can start by showering your body before your hair, or be so cheeky that you let someone else in the home shower before you haha. Then at least some of the metals have time to drain away instead of ending up in your hair!

You can deep clean the hair with special shampoos, or go to a salon that cleanses the hair to get rid of the metals and / or the green tone that may have arisen. But a cheap home remedy is ascorbic acid and water! About 3 tablespoons in a liter of water that you pour over your hair and let it work for a while. Vitamin C in ascorbic acid (if I understood correctly) will pull all the metals out of the hair strands. This in itself can also be dehydrating for the hair and should not be done more often than necessary, but absolutely every time before a visit to the hairdresser I would recommend! And if you have the opportunity to shower with someone who does not have as much metal in the water (a newer household for example), it can be recommended to do this treatment there if you want as metal-free hair as possible before the hairdresser visit.

3. Red neutralizes green, so a redder hair color will make the green appear less. However, it will also be more difficult to keep a red hair color equally red, as green and red neutralize each other.

Offers a before and after picture of my new hair! :) More pictures are available at Imakeyousmile.se!

It may not be so much visible in the pre-image that the hair changes to green, but in some light (especially I have noticed it in pictures) it becomes a gray-green tone, and even Lynn said that she saw some green-toned curls when she lifted on hair and looked around.

Hope you got a little wiser! :)

Blog Awards look

5

I was in a hurry when I got ready before the Blog Awards so I did not have time to take my make-up at home, but the first stop was at Monica Werner at Frisörerna in Uppsala who was given the honorary assignment to make my hair look good, and she took some pictures with her camera before I went on so I can luckily show you close-ups of what I looked like anyway! :)

Monica is really super talented! I dyed my hair with her once before, but changed because Creative Zone worked with Hair Talk Extensions. I'm super happy with Lynn at Creative Zone but can really recommend Monica too! She is not only good as a "regular hairdresser" but also on more daring hairstyles with cool colors and haircuts. But you saw that in the last picture at the Tendenz Stylist Awards with the theme Graphic;)

This is what I looked like last Thursday:

Curly hair in an oblique set! We forgot to take photos from behind but it is a lot of volume and she has twisted her hair in a kind of braid (fixed with 2 loops) so that it fits snugly around the neck before it collects in the tassel. I who am extremely bad at hair and only flatten it when I should be nice, I felt like a real princess! :)

I matched my jumpsuit with a purple make-up with light in the middle of the eyelid, and quite light on the underside of the eyes. And dark pink lips to it - Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick in shade 11 which I know lasts super well without having to think about improving!

The basic make-up is YAG Mineral and the eye shadow from is from Paese!

I often smile with my teeth at pictures here in the blog - but here is my real laugh haha! Monica has not learned that you can not say funny things when you photograph me haha;)

This is what I looked like when I was on my way later :) However, the jacket ended up in the wardrobe at the gala when we arrived!

Surely I was nice? :)

Nail polish

I will for various reasons stop fixing my nails at the salon, but now a problem remains, how at seventeen should I get rid of all the pearls? :) Lol.

What do you think? Trying to peel them all off one by one, or somehow grind them down? Some have fallen by themselves already so they may not be sitting so hard. Hmmm… It will be enough to try with alternative one at the beginning in any case and see how well it goes!

Do you have any tips? :)

Anyway, it will probably take a while, so the big question is rather when I will take the time to do it haha.

I will return when I know how it all degenerates;)

Mineral shadows in autumn / winter

0

Mineral makeup is quite hyped right now and is promoted a lot in different contexts, and I think that is great! So what is so good about mineral eyeshadows over other eyeshadows? Here are some of the positive features:

  • Gentle on sensitive eyes
  • Gentle on sensitive skin
  • Long and long lasting
  • Can be mixed with water and used as eyeliner
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Good mineral brands are free from talc, oils, nanoparticles, bishmuth oxychloride and animal ingredients

You can indulge in cheap eye shadows, but if you want quality, mineral eye shadows are a safe bet! I personally love using mineral shadows and some favorite brands are Yag mineral, Eco minerals and Lily Lolo.

This shade is called Mystic Purple and comes from Yag mineral (costs SEK 169 here!), surely it's a really nice autumn shade? Wonderful!!

Here are some more tips on mineral shadows from Yag mineral that are excellent in autumn and winter:

Pink Berry, Mystic Purple, Cyclamen Bronze and Cacao Brown are murky shades that are popular in the autumn, Cyclamen Bronze is probably the best-selling shade I think. Rose Gold and Azul are big sellers for the winter - blue cold everyday make-up that suits the season and gold is popular around Christmas and New Year.

You can see more pictures of the purple make-up that I showed with mystic purple here!

Hugs are! :)
