Sheer Cover Lash Extending Fibers

I became so extremely curious when I opened Sheer Cover's new "Lash Extending Fibers" - which I thought would be a primer with fibers in which you apply before the mascara. (Had not read so very carefully)

That was it only fibers! It looks like a mascara brush full of fluff :)

The Fiberwig mascara became very popular, and I guess this is the same kind of fiber, although they are next to the mascara instead of inside.

The fibers build up the volume and length of the eyelashes, so that they become long and full.

Apply mascara as usual.
2. Apply the fibers.
3. Apply another layer of mascara.

Probably they became long everything :)

However, you have to be a little careful when applying the fibers so that it does not become too much! The pictures were taken the first time I tested the products, and I thought it then became a little too much fiber, it spreads out a bit as well.

Unfortunately I did not take photos with just the mascara before I put on the fibers so that you can see the difference, you have to be a little fast so that the mascara does not dry out. No photo breaks. But if I'm not going away one day, I will try to show with fibers on one eye and on the other!

The fibers cost SEK 109 Sheercover.se!
The mascara is also from Sheer Cover, costs SEK 149.

You will probably see more of this product in the blog!

If you have a little droopy / wrinkled eyelids that are difficult to apply make-up, a sweep actually works just fine.

There are some tips and tricks that one can think of though. Had intended to show step by step, but of course my camera died.

But I will explain as clearly as I can!

Focus on the top of the eye, to lift the gaze!

I have used this earthy 4-palette from IsaDora, the shade Golden Sunset.

Like to show with this palette, as it is easy to buy (instead of buying 4 single shadows) and affordable! In addition, the colors that most people like are brown and brownish gold.

But this make-up can of course be done with black / gray as well, with color or more discreet shadows!

Step 1.
Put it on second brightest the eye shadow a little above the globe line.
Do you have a little drooping eyelids that become like a "hood" when you look straight ahead. Then you can look straight into the mirror, and apply the eye shadow over the globe line, where you see that it is visible!

Step 2.
Put it on golden eye shadow along the globe line, or simply under the eye shadow you first applied.
Blur the edges.

Step 3.
Put it on dark eye shadow on the rest of the eyelid.
To raise the eye more, place the shadow a little higher just above the pupil, so that it becomes like a discreet top!

Step 4.
Mark the eyes with one black eye shadow as eyeliner. Erase!
If you have wrinkles, it may be easier to soot with black eye shadow instead of a eyeliner. But blurring a eyeliner is just as good! I use an oblique brush for this, so that it does not become too much.

If you have sagging eyelids / wrinkles, it can be difficult to get a sharp eyeliner evenly. Also be a little careful about how wide an edge you paint. On droopy eyes, the entire make-up can only look black when you look straight ahead, if you have a lot of eyeliner. If you do not want it then :)

Step 5.
Open your eyes with one matt highlighter shadow along the lower row of lashes in the corner of the eye and below the brow (gloMinerals Eye Shadow, Diamond). And a white eyeliner along the waterline. (IsaDora Inliner Kajal, 50 Satin White.) I always choose a matte highlighter if the rest of the eye shadows are shimmery, to get some contrast.

Step 6.
Finish with mascara on all lashes! IsaDora Precision Mascara.
Do you have really sparse lower lashes, which many get over the years. Then think I that it is nicer to let them go completely, than to have 4 black straws under the eye that are difficult to get. But a discreet fringe marking is still to be recommended in my opinion, so that the make-up looks more finished.

Lips - Lypsyl + pink eye shadow. Lighter in the middle.

So, now you are ready for the weekend! ;)

On one blog I get make-up questions from older women who want to look younger, and on the other blog teenage girls ask how to put on make-up older to get in the basket!

Do you want to see how I did this make-up for a 17-year-old who wanted to go to a concert, you will find the post here :)

Amberlaque - Gel nails

0

Gel polish is, in short, a nail polish that is cured under an LED lamp and it lasts much, much longer than regular nail polish.

Amberlaque is a new gel polish that you fix yourself at home, available at Amberbird.se and a starter kit costs SEK 499. Single varnish then costs SEK 150.

This particular brand is completely newly launched and I who have also tested Depends gel polish can say that Amberlaque is better and simpler in many ways, because it is a "one-step polish"!

In Depend you need a lamp, cleaning fluid, base coat, colored varnish and a top coat. The cleaning starts with, and ends, when the nails get a sticky surface that must be wiped off. Between each varnish, you should harden the nails under the lamp.

When you use Amberlaque, you only need a colored varnish and a lamp, so it's easier and it's faster as you do not have to do as many steps!

A gel polish (color 237 Moscow) and the cute pink lamp that runs on battery.

Paint a layer, let it harden under the lamp for 60 seconds.

The only negative is that the LED lamp has no timer, so you have to keep the time yourself. Which in itself is not a mega job, as it is about a whole minute and not a certain number of seconds.

(The varnish that is not gray-silver is a regular nail polish, to get some variation on the nails)

You harden the four long fingers on your hands first, and have your thumb outside. Finally, take both thumbs at once. So you have your fingers under the lamp for a total of 3 minutes.

The varnish covers well on the first varnish, but you can also apply a second coat. The important thing is to add a thin layer, and after you have hardened it under the lamp, you can put a new one if you want, and harden again.

When the nails have been under the lamp, they are completely dry, not sticky at all! You are simply done :)

Surely it's a nice color? Gray with silver shimmer.

The nails were done yesterday, so I can not yet answer questions about whether it is easy to remove or how long it lasts. But man ska remove it with a remover, and that ska last up to 20 days.

I'll be back with that info when I know, if you're curious? :)

Nice, fast and easy. I highly recommend this!

I found this picture on the website, Amberbird.se, here you see all the different shades.

I love the shimmery ones, the 224 that is at the top is really a nice autumn color, and the blue shimmery 248 a winter color and then the gold shimmery 360 a Christmas and New Year color!

Highlight Brown Eyes

0

There is really no complementary color to brown, as brown is not included in the color circle.

But as you hopefully understood in the previous post, it is the opposites that emphasize each other.

What then highlights warm brown eyes? Well cool colors!

Blue is the coldest shade, and therefore the one that emphasizes brown eyes the most. There are also other factors that give a cold effect, such as shimmer and glitter!

Here are some examples:

If you just want to emphasize a little discreetly, for example if you do not like blue eye shadows, then I can recommend Max Factors False Lash Effect Mascara in the shade Deep Blue!

It gives a navy blue color that is not so obvious blue, really nice!
