Assistant and cleaning help

0

My please big sister Mia have been here all day cleaning and running errands for me!

I have been able to completely focus on make-up, blogging and everything else that concerns my company, at the same time as it has become clean and tidy here :)

In addition, I have avoided going outside the door unnecessarily, which was worth its weight in gold as I have the world's biggest abrasion on my foot after we went for an hour's power walk yesterday. Evil as hell does it!

Thank you so much Mia, you are an angel !!!

Brown and black sweeping

Sooted eyes are one of the make-up I get most questions about in the blog, and which seems to be the most popular.

A black sweep is more difficult to achieve than, for example, a brown sweep, because black is much darker and does not blend into the skin as well in the fading when you have blurred the shadow.

A tip if you still want a black sweep is to also use a brown eye shadow for the globe line!

For today's make-up, I have used quite a lot of brown eye shadow because I think it is very nice, but it is possible to take less brown and more black also if you want a blacker look.

Without flash.

With flash.

I have used these products from Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Set for Brows and Eyes Palette.

Black eye shadow on the entire eyelid.
Brown eye shadow along the globe line and along the lower lash line.
Light eye shadow under the brow.
Black eyeliner along the waterline and the upper lash line.
Black mascara on all lashes, Lumene Cloudberry Volume Serum Mascara.

Lip-gloss, Lumene Raspberry Miracle Lip Sorbet (16 Wild Raspberries)
gloMinerals gloLipgloss (Rose Gold) in the middle of the lips.

Now I will start packing the make-up bag for a make-up job in Uppsala, and then it will be evening coziness at Frida's home!

Hugs are :)

Unmade (permanent makeup only)

I absolutely love the sweater that Annika wore when she competed in the Swedish Championships in makeup last Saturday!

It is Annika who has done all my makeup tattoos, or permanent makeup as it is actually called. And she uses her own face as live advertising, you could say, incredibly smart :)

She has basically all the tattoos you can do, and since she also has nice skin and colors and permanent eyelashes, she never has to use makeup!

And on her shirt she has partly printed info about Creative Make Up on her back, ie her salon, and on the front it says "UNMINKED".

She got a lot of looks from people around I can say! :)

This is how she wakes up every morning.

Although probably not as tense, I took this picture a little quickly while waiting for who won the competition. Nervous times a thousand!

Even the freckles are tattooed :)

So spotless!

Hey!

I wonder if you can have pressed powder (not mineral powder) directly on a primer or if you must have foundation as well? Previously, I only applied powder on the face, but heard a while ago that it is death for the skin and that you must protect the skin with foundation before applying the powder. What really matters?

Then I also wonder what you would recommend for makeup if you have large pores in the t-zone you want to hide? I think that everything I have tried that promises minimization of the pores does not make any difference at all. After a while, you stand there completely blank in the sweep and with megapores. Not nice at all. :( ”

There is nothing that says that you can not have only powder, I do not know what the person in question meant by "death of the skin" but I can guess that he assumes that powder clogs the pores.

Not all powders clog the pores, and there are foundations that do. Look for products with the text "Non-comedogen" this means that the product does not clog your pores.

But if you are happy with the result with just your powder then there is no reason to stop with it. Unless your skin tells you to.

To cover your large pores, there are several tips (you can read my previous post here) but if you only use primer and powder, I guess the problem lies in your skin care.

One tip is to test the skin care brand Exuviance! It has helped my skin a lot! :)

Here is my result after 3 weeks of using Exuviance products. Have made a previous post about it here, where I link to exactly the products I use.

Hope you are happy with the answer, and good luck! :)

SM and makeup 2013

I can admit that I am not the best photographer, especially not in "stressful" contexts where one second you have a perfect photo chance, but the second after the person moves or someone else gets in the way.

About 75% of my pictures from the Swedish Championships are blurred and generally bad, haha. I just trust my system camera and pepper photos like the worst paparazzi!

But here comes at least a decent picture bomb á la Helena from last Saturday, when I was in place to witness the Swedish Championships in makeup! Unfortunately I do not have good pictures of all models as it was very crowded and I could not see all from my place.

But it was so fun to see everyone's make - up and how they interpreted the theme. Extra fun to Annika Söderlund from Creative Make Up competed, she was of course cheered on a little extra even before the competition :)

This year's theme was “Call me Cupcake ”!

Preparation, Annika and her model. The picture was taken about 5 minutes before the competition started.

All makeup artists have 30 minutes to put on make-up. Before, it has prepared hair and clothing.

The incredibly good-looking and sweet frill that Annika's model has stands for the talented Jennie Ifren! Jennie works as a hairdresser Creative Zone in Uppsala.

Now the competition is on!

Thumbs up got this makeup artist who won the Swedish Championships 8 out of 10 times in previous years.

A quarter left…

Also liked this nice make-up by Elisabeth Ahlén, also from Uppsala.

Only a few minutes left now. This look was a natural make-up with sprinkles on the lips.

It works!

This one was really cute too!

I like this picture, it was taken just when they called out "two seconds left !!”In the speaker :)

Do you see how bad light it was by the way? Purple headlights in all their glory, but I do not think the organizers thought properly when they put it up at a make-up contest.

Annika said that it was at least better than previous years, one of the times it has been so dark that she did not see where in the face she had laid base and not! I had gone crazy :)

After 30 minutes, they had a while to fix to the last with hair and clothes if needed. The atmosphere was great, finally clear but nervous before the jury's assessment!

All the girls took a few laps of the escalator to show off. The competition itself was held in the Skrapan shopping center in Stockholm, previously the competitions were held in Älvsjömässan, where they have a proper stage to show off.

I must, without being biased, say that Annika's make-up was clearly the best in my opinion.

There were several that I liked, but it's a bit like when you bake for real - a pastry can easily become for sweet so that it instead becomes quite "slippery" and I got a bit of that feeling from many contributions. And even though many are so extremely good, I was a little shocked by the quality of some looks that I did not really think kept the standard.

Annika's contribution made you really want to bake! I see a sugary mom in front of me baking good cakes all day. A classic make-up with a little topping I would say :)

And the Swedish Championship gold went to Annika Söderlund !!!! :)

Motivation of the jury:
“A fantastic combination with the best of a 50's pinup and a contemporary cupcake. Professionally made with a balance that shows great technical knowledge. ”

It is thus Annika Söderlund who goes on to represent Sweden in "International Makeup Championship”In Düsseldorf 2014!

So cool!
