Hello!

Hope you all got off to a great start to the new week!

I had a very intense week last week with a lot of big decisions and inner stress. Nothing serious but there were many streams small :) And since I also worked on Saturday and came home very late then, I felt on Sunday that "no now I should just lie on the couch". Thus, there was no Sunday post about my business week last week, but you get two weeks in the same post now on Sunday instead :)

I did this make-up for everyone who wants one light party make-up! You easily think that party make-up is dark and intense, but you do not always want a dark make-up. Then glitter is your best friend!

Glitter makes any make-up feel glamorous and it also goes super fast! This make-up would be e.g. be able to wear without glitter at work / school, then when you have to turn around in the evening, you dab on glitter and maybe change lip color and it will be a completely different look.

I myself wore this make-up with glitter even at work and "dressed down" with a cozy sweater dress. I love to break off glittery make-up with a cozy autumn outfit, it will be such a nice contrast!

Face primer - Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer
Concealer - Pixi Pat Away Concealing Base (2 Nude)
Foundation - glo Pressed Base (Golden medium)

Eyebrows - glo Micro Brow Pencil (Raven)

Lips - The matte lipstick glo Suede Matte Crayon (Rumor) and a little, a little of the lip gloss glo Lip Gloss (Plumberry) dipped on top.

Had I wished for something superficial in the world, I would have wished that glitter blinged as nicely in the picture as it does in reality haha! It's really nice in the picture but I who see reality also always think “they would just know how nice it is actually!” :)

  1. Eyeshadow primer
    Pink beige eye shadow applied with a moistened brush on the entire eyelid and up into the globe line, Paese Opal Eyeshadow Trio (Colorado)
  2. Glitter on the entire eyelid and up on the globe line, but not as thick along the globe line but quite sparse so that it becomes like a fade. Mood Wood Natural Glitter (Purple) attached with Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer – Natural glitter that is biodegradable in nature woop woop!
    Black eyeliner with wing, Kryolan Cake Liner (Black)
  3. Silver-white eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the eyeliner, Paese Opal Eyeshadow Trio (Ice Queen)
    Light eyeliner along the waterline and between the lashes under the eye, glo Eye Pencil (Peach)
  4. The same glitter also under the eye
  5. Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara

Clear!


A light glitter make-up is nice also when you want to look a little festive but not that it becomes a whole party look. For example. at the Christmas table with the job! :)

The party season is on!

This season and until 2019, there are often very different events with Christmas dinners, New Year's Eve, etc. and therefore I am super duper excited to do more party makeup! Very dark eyes, glitter and intense looks.

What do you think about that?

It's crazy nice for everyday too, like a big knitted mystery sweater, for everyone who has a little extra time and inspiration on the morning twig!

I start with a dark purple sweeping with silver details and glitter that really feels like New Year's Eve! I made it all a little milder with a warm lip color, but if you want to go all in on the party feeling, rather choose a dark pink, red or something like that :)

I have previously had a very long period where I never put eyeliner along the waterline. Mine is still tattooed light so I do not need it. But lately I love having a eyeliner pen there! It makes the look more intense and if you (as I did in this look) also put the pen in the corner of the eye, you get such nice cat eyes. This is my new craze!

  1. Eyeshadow primer, Pixi eye bright primer
    Purple eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Paese Kashmir Trio (682)
  2. Fade the edges
  3. Black eyeliner with silver glitter along the waterline and upper lash line, Paese Linea Automatic Liner (Black Glam)
  4. Purple eye shadow along the lower lash line as well
  5. White silver eyeshadow in the corner of the eye and from the outer corner of the eye and outwards, Paese Opal Eyeshadow Trio (Ice Queen)
    Light purple eye shadow in the fade in the globe line and the lower lash line, for a softer and brighter fade, Paese Neo Eyeshadow (654)
  6. Silver glitter in the corner of the eye and blue glitter from the corner of the eye and up a little towards the eyelid and a little under the eye, Mood Wood Natural Glitter (Silver) and (Blue) attached with Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer
  7. Mascara on all lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara

I do not usually blog so much about nail polish because I do not think it is so fun to read about - so have just assumed that you who read do not do it either? Even though it's quite fun to blog about on the other hand :) If you want more of that, shout out!

But now I can not help it because I have two new favorites that make me love my nails even though I just had to cut them off completely.

I have been doing acrylic nails on myself for quite some time now (not extension but only reinforcement) which resulted in all my nails becoming so long and beautiful!

Cut to: I worked with wood for a whole weekend (not nail-friendly) and when the 3rd nail broke so far in that it became sore and many had cracks far in, I realized that I had to cut them all off if I could continue with the wood - and without hurting me any more.

Said and done! When you have had long nails for a long time, so heavenly unusual when they become short! It's like you suddenly have half as long fingers haha.

There are also completely different types of nail polish that I enjoy if I have long compared to short. When I have short nails, I like colors that are light, metallic and glitter rather than colorful shades. I do not know why, it's something I just think of myself :)

So when I received the latest press release from IsaDora called Galactic (no matter how nice products, by the way, check out the latest collection here!) so I sat down immediately and started painting with the new nail polish!

It was a bit fun because during Halloween I had long, black nails with silver glitter and glitter is so extremely hard to remove with a remover so I said to Miska "never more glitter nail polish !!”.

… Then came the press release and the first thing I picked up from the press release was a gold glitter nail polish and then I said “no not glitter, not again”Meeen when 2 seconds later I pick up the rosé-metallic shade 408 Galaxy Rose together with the rosé-glitter lacquer 921 Cosmo Rose so I just could not hold on !!

So nice colors together!

The glitter on the nails is much, much nicer in reality than in the picture, like a thousand times nicer, but the pink glitter together with this metallic rosé color is really the finest combo !!

And now that I do not have acrylic on the nails and the fact that they are very short, ordinary nail polish is scraped off the edges extremely quickly, but glitter fits much better so it is also a plus!

In other words, the only negative is that it is hard to remove BUT this is so nice so I do not want to remove it haha. And glitter tricks the eye a bit too, so if you just top up without redoing from the beginning, it does not look strange either, even if it is actually uneven. So the pros outweigh the cons;)

I would have liked a little more glitter compared to transparent lacquer. You get quite a lot of varnish if you want a lot of glitter, which makes the drying time very long. But it is not a deal breaker and apart from that, both nail polishes get a full pot!

I will probably only have these nails until 2019, it feels like right now, love, love, love! ♥

There have been very gloomy make-ups here in the blog lately, even though there has also been some glitter and color clicks on them as well;)

But today I was hungry for color !! An eye makeup in yellow and purple and then dark pink lips for it, yummy!

  6. Dark purple shade along the lower lash line

  7. Light purple eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line

I went outside my comfort zone and supplemented this with a red hat later! I have not used it since I went to high school type. But it was a little fun! :)

I did this make-up the same day I mixed my own lipstick from Pixi that I showed in this post!

This whole look is made with products from Pixi in addition to powder, a black eye shadow and mascara :)

For the lip color, I was so hungry for a gray eye makeup! Then I added some glow and glitter too :)

  1. Eyeshadow primer + powder on top of the primer, Pixi eye bright primer
  2. Gray eyeliner along the upper lash line, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen (Slate Gray)
  3. Fade out with a compact brush, I used Nanshy Pencil Brush it is very flexible for that!
  4. Rose gold eyeliner along the lower lash line and the waterline, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen (Rose Glow)
  5. Brown shadow along the globe line and light shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line and under the eyeliner wing, these are the same shadows in the contouring palette for the face!
    Gold glitter in the corner of the eye and under the eye, Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights (Sunray)
  6. Gray eyeliner at the end of the waterline as well, for a more intense look
    Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear!
