Down-to-earth New Year's make-up

2

Frida wanted one here the other day banana-inspired makeup, in the colors yellow, green, brown and black.

The result - a cool down-to-earth New Year's make-up!

The step by step description is a bit diffuse though, I was tired and forgot to take some steps + work on the erasures a bit over and over so they improve after each picture. That's how I really work.

Hope you understand well anyway :)

All eyeshadows are from the 180 palette.

1. Add a pointed shape black eye shadow at the end of the eyelid.

2. Sota med brown eye shadow along the globe line and at the end of the lower lash line.

3. Green eye shadow on the eyelid.

4. Continue sooting with black eye shadow along the globe line, so that it becomes dark brown.

5. Yellow eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid and over the dark globe line.

6. Put it on brown the eye shadow along the lower lash line.

7. Black eyeliner on the inner and upper lash line.
glo Minerals gloPrecisio Eye Pencil (Black)

8. Black mascara on all lashes.
Make Up Store Multilash.

Nice, nice!

Before applying eye shadow

Malicka sa…
I use ID mineral foundation. Should I apply my primer on top of foundation around the eyes?

Now I will describe exactly how it is and what you should think about before you put the eye shadow! :)

Many people do not think that the eyelids are one of the most oily places on the face. Eyelids become as oily and oily as the T-zone (forehead nose)

Step 1. Wipe eyelids with makeup remover (which is for the eyes) with a cotton ball.
Do not apply lotion on the eyelids. A primer is sufficiently moisturizing, especially if you have a liquid foundation underneath.

step 2. Apply your foundation all over your face and on the eyelids, also if you will cover the lid with eye shadow. The eyelids have many small blood vessels that give a light blue-red hue, even though you do not always think about it yourself. This can affect the true color of the eye shadow!

Step 3. Apply primer around the eye, preferably only up to the eyebrow and on the lower lash line, so that you do not miss anywhere and risk getting spotted eye shadow at the outer edges.

Then it's time to apply eye shadow!

However, I can admit that I usually skip "step 1And just pull a little lightly with your finger to get rid of the excess oil. Ooops;)

Hope you understood!

Christmas make-up

2

Christmas Eve is fast approaching, almost done with all the Christmas presents!

It's also starting to be time to decide your Christmas look, what should you wear? :)

However, I have thought about lots of different Christmas make-up, heavenly fun! Here is a suggestion:

RED, green and silver glitter.
The Christmas feeling comes stealthily…;)

All eyeshadows are from Eleven 180 Palette.

1. Add one RED eye shadow at the end of the eyelid.

2. Soot with one Green eye shadow along the globe line.

3. Highlight with one light yellow / white shimmery eye shadow at the inside of the eyelid, in the corner of the eye, at the bottom of the lower lash line and under the brow.
Eyedust "Annika's favorite shadow".

4. Keep it up green eye shadow down along half the lower lash line.

5. Sota med black eye shadow at the far end of the globe line and in the outer corner of the eye.

6. Dutta lite silver glitter at the outer edge of the upper lash line.
Make Up Store Glitter (Hologram).
Attach with Make Up Store Mixing Liquid.

7. Apply one vit kajalpenna on the inner lash line to "open up" the gaze, H&M.

8. Black mascara on all upper and outer lower lashes.

Make Up Store Multilash.

9. Paint your lips with one red lip pencil, IsaDora Perfect Lip Liner (31 Prime Red)

Lip pencil on the entire lip, or a matte lipstick is the one that fits best during the Christmas dinner! :)

Kiss!

Primer - Use the right eye shadow primer to keep the makeup on!

It shocks me that so few use the product that is mine main tool in the make-up bag. It is also common for many do not even know what is it for!

The wonderful tool I'm talking about is of course a primer (pronounced prajmer)

You could say that a primer is one makeup glue. Usually a transparent or skin-colored cream, which is applied before make-up.

Face primer - Applied to the entire face, after face lotion, before foundation.
Eye primer - Applied around the eyes (I only put up to the brow) after foundation, before eye shadow.

And it's just an eye primer I could never do without!

 Top - Eyeshadow without primer.
Bottom - Eyeshadow with primer.

The colors get stronger, as well holding much longer. In addition, the eye shadow becomes much easier to work with!

This is really a big plus if you want a nice make-up that will last as well after The 12-stroke on New Year's Eve ;)

Lumene has good primers, both for the face and for the eyes! I've also heard that Too Faced have good primers, but I have not tested them myself.

I use though gloMinerals face primer, thinks it is super good. Have reviewed it in one previous posts also.

To the eyes I have Lumene's eye primer. Costs around 100 bucks!

Buy, buy, buy!

Black and silver New Year's make-up

3

A sooty make-up can easily feel too dark if you are not used to it. My tip then is to use shimmery shadows, and highlight with light eyedust!

Here comes such a make-up :)

1. Add one dark gray eye shadow inside and outside of the eyelid.

Eleven 180 Palette.

2. Soot a little lightly right at the outer edges with one black eye shadow.

3. Add one silvery eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid.

Eleven 180 Palette.

4. Now that the whole "principle" is complete, improve on both black and that silvery eyeshadow and blur a lot so that there are no sharp edges left.

5. Highlight with one light yellow / white eyeshadow shadow on the inner lash line and in the corner of the eye.

Minieyedust (No.1)

6. Black eyeliner on the inner lash line, glo Minerals gloPrecisio Eye Pencil (Black)

7. Black eyeliner on the upper lash line, Kryolan Cake Eyeliner.

8. Black mascara on all upper and outer lower lashes.

 Make Up Store Multilash.

If you're wondering why I'm suddenly starting to show only half my face in the full pictures, it's so logical that I have a completely different make-up on one eye! Smart and effective ;)

In other words, the last two weeks I have done all the make-up intensely during the weekend, and publish them over and over again. Have so much to do at work etc so I do not have time to do step by step otherwise!

Now - towards work again!
