Good morning my pinglers! :)
Today it is Valborg, which is a great proof that spring is here for real!
And this time of year, I always get more compliments than usual over my colorful makeup. Most people say "I wish I would dare to use colors too!" but then it never gets off.
Today's make-up is therefore dedicated to you who want to start using colors, but who do not know where to start :)
Common problem areas:
"I'm above strong colors"
Solution - Start with shades that are not so bright, such as navy blue, khaki green and dark purple.
"I look like a clown"
Solution - Do not apply colorfully around the entire eye at once before you feel comfortable, invest in, for example, only on the eyelid and do not go up too much towards the eyebrow.
"It looks like two blackbirds"
Solution - It can be a little harder to apply colorful shadows if you compare with natural earthy colors, because color does not blend in with the skin tone in the same way. Therefore, make it easy for you in the beginning, so that you do not get uneven edges that make the make-up look like blue eyes. Invest in only one eyeshadow, and apply only on the eyelid so you do not have to worry about getting the fade looking good around the whole eye.
If you start a little easy with the tips above, you will eventually become both more skilled and more comfortable with colors and in the end you will experiment with all possible color combinations! :)
Here is a make-up that fits the details I described above:
The shadows I have used come from this 40 palette. It will be in stock again at the end of May, it is estimated!
1. Purple eye shadow on the entire eyelid.
2. Blur the edges.
3. Light eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the brow.
4. Black eyeliner along the upper lash line, Oriflame Eye Liner Stylo (does not seem to be available for purchase anymore)
5. Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara (without the fibers)
Lips and Cheeks, Lumene Raspberry Miracle Blush Sorbet (3 Full and Flowers)
For me, it will not be a Walpurgis celebration today, but I hope that you who have fun plans have a really wonderful Wednesday! :)
Hug!
