Gray-brown smokey eye (Step by step make-up)

Last week we had an event at the salon and then I had this make-up!

I got many questions about how to make this smokey eye in brown tones, there were many who thought it was so nice because I told them that it is made with our new eyeshadow palette glo Skin Beauty Shadow Palette Mixed Metals, and I promised several to publish a step by step description as soon as possible :)

The best thing is that it is really quick to do because the eye shadows are so easy to fade out and get soft edges and no direct precision is required with smoky eyes, just smack on the colors and fade out.

Hörrni, hörrni, hörrni surely this lip pencil is to die for? So fine!

I have used these colors, it is the gray-brown that I have on the entire eyelid.

What do you think? :)

I think it had a nice effect with mascara on just the lashes.

Eyeshadow primer, Pixi eye bright primer
Gray-brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid, applied with Nanshy Tapered Crease
Fade the edges, I used Nanshy blending eyeshadow brush
Light golden eye shadow in the corner of the eye, applied with Nanshy Pencil brush
Brown eyeshadow at the end of the lower lash line
Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear!

Highlighter with Glow - Pixi Glow-Y Powder

Pixi Glow-Y Powder has become a real favorite with our makeup artists at the salon, you would have seen how happy Ämma was (who has a very light skin tone) that the shade London Luster works great for her super light skin :)

What is Pixi Glow-Y Powder?
Highlighters that give the skin a beautiful glow and highlight your facial features. You can either apply a little for a discreet glow or more for a radiant glow!

Formula
The formula is a velvety powder that is easy to wrap on the skin.

Shades
London Luster suits you with very light skin.

Santorini Sunset is warmer in tone and suits you who want a more golden glow.

Rome Rose is the perfect peach tone with a golden luster and fits alone as a blush, over another blush or thin all over the face for those who want more color and life.

A swatch image that shows more clearly how the shades are on the skin. Surely they are nice?

You don't really apply this intensely to the face, but as a nice lightening to the eye shadows, it works gallantly to add a little more :)

Application
For a simple application I recommend Nanshy Fan Brush! It is perfect for applying highlighters both in large areas and in areas that require more precision.

Swipe on in the high parts of the face, or just on the cheekbones. Great on the tip of the nose, forehead, chin, collarbones and shoulders.

The shade Rome Rose becomes a mild pink tone if you swipe a little, you have a dull / dull complexion so you swipe a little in the rest of the face also for a more vibrant skin tone. You can apply more and use it as a regular blush or swipe thinly over your regular blush to get a little more peach-golden glow, then a regular blush brush works, Nanshy Blush Brush, great.

Results
Above you see the shade Santorini Sunset on the cheekbones. The darker under the highlighter is just a natural shadow of my cheekbone because I shoot a lot from above, I have not added any contouring shadow.

The highlighter blends well into the skin and gives a lot of effect without looking glittery.

And here I have put Rome Rose as blush in the middle of the cheeks and Santorini Sunset is higher up on the cheekbone. It is difficult to capture the luster in the picture but the cheekbones are very nicely glowy and a lovely color!

I put quite a lot of Rome Rose to bring out the shade clearly in the picture, but you can vary how much you put off the one I wrote later in the post :)

For those of you who shave your head - this is not only a cute razor car but extremely flexible as well! We had a customer who shaves his head regularly who tipped about this and Miska's friend who shaves his head then had to put this to the test as well and he also thinks that it makes shaving smooth.

Must be hard to shave my head I think, but have not put this to the test myself actually haha.

Pastel blue makeup, hair & nails

I wore this make-up at a housewarming party last Saturday! :)

I had 3 hours to shower, put on make-up, fix my hair and outfit, have dinner AND do a skeletal Halloween make-up on my sister before I would run to the bus, so you could say I was a little stressful haha.

Multitask-Helena also painted her nails and let them dry while I took the finished pictures of the make-up, so the hair that I had sprayed in a silver-blue tone did not come out as nicely as it really was when I could not pull my fingers through the hair and puff up what I wanted.

But with all the circumstances, it was a good thing that I took pictures step by step and pictures in general so I hope you appreciate the pictures of this look anyway :)

I felt great anyway! Had a black jumpsuit with silver glitter and a big black mystery sweater with silver glitter over, so I was cozy but all-glittery :) And then silver blue nails, silver blue shifts in my hair and silver blue in my make-up. Very well thought out yep, yep!

The lipstick is a new color in the Suede Matte Crayon series from gloMinerals, which is our best-selling lip product at the salon! Matt and incredibly durable, I got comments about it at the party actually, that it sat so well even though I did not improve, and one of the girls who came there with red lips but who barely had anything left after an hour got to try and loved it! :)

The new shade is called Rumor and is a super nice dark pink, completely matte color, I fell in love the first time I saw it, so heavenly nice!

Surely it was nice with the brown tone that draws a little and burgundy along with the cold blue? It did not get any eyeliner due to saved seconds but I think it turned out very nice but also :)

The blue hair is done with the novelty L'Oréal Paris Colorista Spray (adlink) in the shade Pastel Blue which I received in a press release last week. I have actually booked time to bleach my hair to be able to play more with these types of temporary colors, so fun! There will be a review of these soon but in short I am happy with the result :)

Here comes a favorite halloween makeup - Skeleton / Skull / Skull.

Last Saturday I was in a great hurry to make up my sister who was going to a Halloween party, it turned out to be a skull and wig! Effective and can be achieved relatively quickly.

I also got a picture :)

She had a nice eye makeup when she closes her eyes, which I have no picture of, it goes from white to silvery white, silver, gray and black on the outer edges. Very nice!

What do you think? :) I think I did it in about 30 minutes, although then she would have done the base herself.

Halloween Makeup - Skeleton / Skull / Skull:

The only thing I used was white and black eyeshadow + a palette with silver tones, black cream eyeliner and Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer (like a mixing liquid) to make the white eyeshadow comprehensive and durable around the mouth. This kind of make-up you always use for regular make-up as well :)
