Kat Von D - Purple makeup

Good morning, good morning! :)

This make-up is made with the new products from Kat Von D that I got at the launch. Everything is available for purchase at Sephora in Stockholm.

Hope you are inspired by the look!

The base is a heavenly mix of lots of different products that I can barely remember myself. It happens sometimes when you get a lot of new at the same time, test a foundation in the wrong color and a powder that went crazy for yellow, and then save the whole situation with lots of other products hihi.

But the lips are Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lolita II and I have applied a bit of the same purple eye shadow in the edges that I have in my eye makeup:

All eye shadows are from Kat Von D Beauty Chrysalis Eyeshadow Palette, unless otherwise stated.

  1. Purple eye shadow on the entire eyelid
  2. Sketch the cat eye shape with a dark purple eye shadow
  3. Black eyeliner with wing + along the dark purple marking, Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner.
  4. Apply more dark purple shade in the globe line
  5. Fade the edges
  6. White eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the eyeliner, Paese Kashmir eyeshadow (601)
  7. Purple eyeshadow along the lower lash line.
  8. Black mascara on all lashes, Kat Von D Beauty Immortal Lash 24 Hour Mascara

Glamorous Sunday

2

I had a fully booked Saturday at the salon yesterday, great fun! And took a booking after closing too so stayed even longer. Then we ended the evening with cooking dinner at Annika, master chef Miska tossed together the world's tastiest halibut with parsnip puree and cucumber salad with leeks, lemon and dill. So hey, you have to try it! So good! :)

Today will be a work-free home day, but no relaxation here! We have not washed in several months, you know when it is no longer urgent because half the bathroom is filled with dirty laundry, but because there are actually no clean underwear left in the closet and you can use your "if-I-have-to- panties ”that really should have been thrown away several years ago? Do you recognize yourself, or is it just me (?) Haha.

Sunday-wash

You are used to seeing my slightly more glamorous side with beautiful make-up and intense looks - but now I also introduce you to Sunday Helena! She is also nice :)

I'm damn good at washing by the way, 100% structured and plan every single machine and suspension down to the smallest detail. Usually think that I work in a laundry and am the most efficient in the staff #knäppgök

miss-a-sunday

Miska and I are the best laundry team! I arrange all the practicalities and he contributes to the entertainment, talking socks are standard in our laundry.

Anyway, now I'm going to pour myself a cup of coffee, turn on Celine Dion at the highest volume and start cleaning the closets.

Have a nice Sunday everyone! ♥

Made up by Erik Soto - Kat Von D's makeup artist

Kat Von D Beauty has now finally been launched in Scandinavia!

I was invited to the launch at Sephora on Tuesday, and had the honor of being one of the few people who was made up by Erik Soto - Kat Von D's global makeup artist. So incredibly fun! :)

I had the camera with me but only took a few photos, but Vass PR had its own photographer on site who sent pictures to me yesterday, so it was absolutely perfect!

Kat Von D has such a sickly cool make-up style, dares everything and dresses in everything!

The world's strangest feeling to be the one sitting in the make - up chair! The last time someone else made me up was probably when Annika practiced before the Swedish Championships in makeup 4-5 years ago.

Praise my hair color and say I'm beautiful and you'll see this smile! haha #Smickrad

I do not really remember what I am talking about here haha, looks really interesting anyway;)

Erik used Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Exorcism on me, really bang-looking color! Totally to my taste!

Erik mixed the lipstick with face primer and made a pigment-rich blush!

He applied the cream blush with a makeup brush, but that was just because he could not find his beauty blender haha.

Nice and happy! Erik was so heavenly cute, great fun to talk to! He has been a makeup artist for 18 years, and Kat Von D's makeup artist for 5 years.

Stopped at the salon on the way home and took a more proper picture with my photo flashes. Fint va? :)

I brought with me a large eyeshadow palette, mascara, 2 lipsticks, eyeliner, liquid lipstick and an eyeshadow brush in a black case. Will review soon! :)

Now I'll get started with today's job at the salon! Have so sick a lot of bookings today so will work on chords a few hours in a row, and will most likely be completely exhausted, starved and need to pee when the day is over haha. But it's worth it because it's going to be so much fun! :)

Had two wonderful make-up bookings yesterday that I got to take before and after pictures of as well. Shows them soon!

Hope you all have a fantastic Saturday ♥

L'Oréal Paris - Color Riche Le Vernis à l'Huile

This week, L'Oréal Paris launched not only the new lipsticks I showed you a few days ago, but also brand new nail polishes in 20 different colors!

I have received a home sample of 7 of the colors and thought to show them to you now :)

IMG_1602_111

First of all, how nice are not the nail polish bottles ?! ♥

IMG_1598_111

Award
SEK 79 and is available at several of L'Oréal Paris' retailers, such as Åhlens, KICKS and H&M.

Content
These nail polishes contain more pigment than L'Oréal's previous varnish, as well as moisturizing oil that moisturizes the nails.

Application
The brush is wide and very easy to paint with, and above all I love how the varnish spreads out and becomes really even and nice on the nails. A little gel effect I would almost say.

Coverage
The colors I have tested give a nice coverage after only one coat, in addition to the white varnish which needs two coats. If you take a very, very thin layer (which is good to do), you may need two layers of all for a completely even and intense color, but I have a layer of most.

Drying
They dry quickly if you take a thin layer, but when I painted two layers on top of each other (the white color) I did not wait mega long in between, but also not unreasonably short time, but then it was soft for several hours and got ugly marks in sig. So make sure to paint thin and wait between all layers if you paint more, then it dries quickly :)

Fragrance
When you paint the nails, it smells like classic nail polish, a little stronger even I can think. But when it dries, it smells like candy! Yummy! Did not know that the nail polish was perfumed like that, so I was very shocked by my fragrant hands that I walked around and sniffed later haha.

sustainability
Much like regular nail polish I would say, no wow durability with clearly approved.

Summary - Two big thumbs up get the paint off me! The bottles are nice, the colors are great and the nail polish is even and really nice on the nails. Feels luxurious and with good quality, and yet really affordable :)

My favorite is Rose Ballet :) ♥

Bright pink & Kat Von D eyeliner

Now Kat Von D is finally at Sephora in Sweden!

I brought a goodie bag home with me after the launch event on Tuesday and have now put the eyeliner and mascara to the test, as well as a little light pink eye shadow in the corner of the eye. It turned out great! Perfect look for pink lips and my pink hair :)

stägforstäg_111

  1. Paint a line on the entire upper lash line, a little narrower towards the corner of the eye compared to the rest.
  2. Draw a line from the outer corner of the eye and outwards, at approximately the same angle as the lower lash line and as far out as you want the eyeliner wing to be.
  3. Draw a line from the tip and towards the lash line and tie them together with a soft line
  4. Fill in the eyeliner wing
  5. Dab light pink eye shadow in the corner of the eye
  6. Finish with mascara on all lashes

I had this look at the event with Make Up Store on Wednesday, and both the eyeliner and the mascara held up very well!

Hugs are ♥
