The Entrepreneur in Me - Part 1 The Law of Attraction

I got a positive response to more entrepreneurial talk in the blog, fun! I therefore thought to start with some kind of forceps, where I both talk about my opinions on the subject and how it all started. It feels a bit weird to draw a story about "how it all started" as if you have already reached the goal haha, I'm still in the beginning, but for those of you who have not followed my blog for so long, maybe it's nice with some basic info when you follow me on my career journey :)

Speaking of which, when I write that you who continue to read my blog will be able to follow my career journey, many people may think that it is a little too confident? I've already come a long way, what if I do not come so much further? Then I will look back on this post and be ashamed later.

But I would say that it is already at this point that it all began - self-confidence. I am not a person with the best self - confidence in the world when it comes to what I can do and achieve, but I am very confident that everything I dream of will come true as long as I continue to be positive and do what my gut feeling tells me. right now.

It is not possible to plan life in the smallest detail, but I strongly believe in the law of attraction, gut feeling and destiny, and that is what helps me move forward all the time!

IMG_6416_111

Miska also believes in this with the law of attraction, and I am convinced that it is also a helping hand in the whole thing. Since he started reading about the law of attraction, so that we were suddenly two under the same roof who wanted (and are fighting for) the same things, the development has taken place with rocket speed!

I do not remember exactly which month, but I know that it was at least this year that Miska started reading the books on the subject. I had then started working one day a week at Creative Make Up, mostly because Annika needed help and I needed variety - completely unaware that within a few months we will be partners in the same limited company with both employees and a 360 sqm salon with shop windows facing one of Uppsala's busiest streets!

I have always had the attitude that what you want you get! And that's what the whole attraction law is about, you get what you want as long as you are a positive person who has contact with "their inner source" as you can call it. I have that thought built in for some reason and have always thought so, but Miska has read books that helped him a lot about this. So I can recommend it to you who are not familiar :)

Both Miska and I are so sure that we have a successful career ahead of us, that we are already a few years ahead in our heads. When we had dinner last week, we came to ourselves by saying "it would be so much fun to invest in a small business and help it grow ” while we ourselves are still on square one in our own company haha.

And it's already a bit for a lot that has given our company a kick in the ass so that I can believe that it is only coincidence, I firmly believe that it is all positive thoughts and the basic attitude that do the biggest job! Even though there is obviously a lot of work behind it as well.

Summary - The basic setting is the most important thing for success, and to have 100% support and help from your other half. The latter may not be the easiest to get if you do not have it, but I actually think it is the law of attraction that has made me attracted to Miska from the very beginning;) ♥

Do you believe in the law of attraction? Or do you think I sound like a fuzzy hocus-pocus old lady?

Golden eyeliner

Today's make-up is a down-to-earth look that blends in a little extra with the metallic gold eyeliner Extreme Gold from NYX which was the icing on the cake :)

And instead of a lipstick, I have used Pixi's lip balm Shea Butter Lip Balm which gives a nice color while it feels so heavenly nice on the lips! Soft and lovely but not as creamy as a lipstick, hardly so that you think that it is there except that it feels soft and good. Me like!

Batiste Heavenly Volume - Dry Shampoo

I was very happy when I got home a test sample of Batiste's new dry shampoo "Heavenly Volume" as I love dry shampoo that also gives volume, because my hair quickly becomes both oily and super flat.

You who have followed my blog for a long time know that I am not 100% fond of Batiste, they slow down the hair well and are cheap and are in many fun scents so they are definitely not bad, but I get so heavenly irritated scalp from them so that it begins to itch in the scalp. But as a dry shampoo eater and also a volume junkie, you can stand it, it's not that bad, but I could not use Batiste every day all the time :)

At least now I have tested Batiste Heavenly Volume for 2 weeks and thought I would tell you what I think!

IMG_7467_111

As with all Batiste's dry shampoos, it mattifies the hair well, and it does not feel rough on the scalp, many volume-giving dry shampoos can otherwise feel a little rough. And as with all Batiste dry shampoos, I get irritated scalp and also think that the matte effect is not as long-lasting as with some other dry shampoos. So it is both plus and minus :)

But this volume effect then? It gives absolutely more volume than the usual ones from Batiste, but no wow effect I have to say as the hair does not get very much volume and also the volume does not want to last that long but you have to puff it up with your fingers a few times during the day.

Recommended for - You who just want a little volume and who do not have sensitive scalp, you will probably like this! Affordable and good for SEK 79 on HERE.

But for you with sensitive scalp or who want lots of volume (or have a hard time getting volume like me) you will probably like me more, better than the usual from Batiste but no wow-result :)

batste-dry-shampoo-volume

As you can see in the before and after pictures, you definitely get more volume, but on my hair, as I said, it will not be super much volume and not so long-lasting.

It is relatively newly launched, but have any of you had time to test it yet? And in such cases, what do you think? :)

Paraffin bath for hands

1

Some dates, the nail therapist Tina is with us at Creative Makeup By Her and does manicures and such treatments! She worked full time with nails before, now she works mostly at Panduro but has started with nails more and more again. At the salon she has not started with extension and such treatments yet, but I did a paraffin bath for her hands with her last week and it was so wonderful!

IMG_7362_111

What does a paraffin bath do?
Nourishes, moisturizes, cleanses and softens the skin on the hands. The bath opens up the pores and encapsulates heat and moisture in the skin, and all dirt in the skin is absorbed into the paraffin. The hands become baby-smooth and stay moisturized longer than with regular hand lotion. As a wrap but better!

Who needs to do paraffin baths?
Paraffin baths are good for everyone's hands, but especially good for extremely dry and chapped hands, and also for people with joint problems and pain when it softens the joints. Perfect for wintery hands.

IMG_7364_111

How does it happen?
♥ First, peel your hands so that all superficial dirt and impurities disappear. Then they are also sprayed to get rid of all bacteria.
♥ The hands are lubricated in hand cream and caring natural oil - which then works extra well and penetrates properly into the skin under the warm paraffin.
♥ Slowly dip your hands upside down in the paraffin bath five times, until you have a proper paraffin surface.
♥ Then you can sit with your hands in soft gloves for 15 minutes while the skin is cared for under the paraffin.
♥ The paraffin is removed, excess lotion is wiped off, but it is only good if a little is left. Then it's ready!

So it is not the paraffin itself that is so caring, but the hand cream + oil before together with the heat and the cleansing effect that becomes such a heavenly good combo. I kind of want to do it all over my body haha.

IMG_7369_111

Here, the hand has been dipped once, and the hand already looks a bit like a prosthesis!

IMG_7379_111

And this is how scary it looks when you have dipped all five times :)

Incredibly nice feeling, and I who had been icy cold with my fingers all day sat and just enjoyed, enjoyed, enjoyed over how well my hands suddenly got it. Great!

And the skin afterwards, so soft and smooth hands! And I actually think it has held up well too, not as mega soft as they were last night but they still feel more moisturized and nice than before.

IMG_7382_111

Since Tina does not work full time with this, we do not yet have any specific dates as she is always here, but call us on 018 10 50 13 and tell us what you want to book, and Tina will return with a date and time that suits both.

Manicure costs from SEK 395 and hand massage costs SEK 295, the paraffin bath costs only SEK 120, but I really recommend doing it in connection with a manicure as well, so heavenly wonderful with both cared for hands and nice nails! :)

Great Christmas gift tips too!

Make-up consultation before and after

Last Friday I had a make-up consultation at the salon with a girl who has traveled all the way from Lysekil (near Gothenburg) to have a make-up consultation with me in Uppsala, super fun! We have talked about it for a long time but waited until we opened the store, so that she can get the most out of it with all the webshop products in place :)

Extra fun was that I also got to take pictures, partly for my sake to be able to blog, but also for her own sake to be able to look back on when she will put on make-up at home later. Because even if you understand the place and think that you should remember everything, you may not remember it later when you sit at home yourself with the eyeliner in hand.

Here is the nice result!

makeup-before-and-after

Nice transformation huh? :)

She mainly wanted help with her eyebrows and eyeliner with wing, and tips about her eye shape. And the most important thing is to be able to do the same myself later, so we did a simple eyebrow plucking (her eyebrows before were completely untouched) and then I did a make-up in earthy tones with a clear eyeliner that lifts her eye shape very nicely.

A good make-up if you want to be able to give many make-up tips while you put on make-up!

Hope you all were also inspired by the make-up, it will help even more :)

A make-up consultation costs SEK 795, and then you get products for the entire sum! Perfect to treat yourself if you still need new products - that's what my whole concept is about, both in the shop and in the store, you should not buy a lot of products that sound good on paper but which then mostly lie in a drawer , without getting help to use them as well so that you get as much as possible out of the product.

Good gift tips too, or Christmas gift tips maybe you should start saying now;)
