Batiste Floral Essense & Bloom (Dry Shampoo)

In May, Batiste launched two completely new fragrances on their popular dry shampoos, I have received a home sample of them and thought of showing them to you now. Both smell so incredibly summery and good :)

Batiste is not one of my favorite brands when it comes to dry shampoo, I have too sensitive scalp to be able to use it regularly (starts itching) and also the hair gets a little grayish so you have to work it in with your fingers a lot to get the hair color nice. But it is definitely an affordable product that does its job and is available in lots of wonderful scents, and I know that many of you love Batiste, so I was still going to show you these scents! :)

And I must say that it is a joy to have these nice bottles visible on the bathroom shelf, so nice!

Floral Essences - Smells sweet and summery, and has a fairly light scent. Could definitely use it as just perfume :) My absolute favorite fragrance from the entire Batiste range!
Bloom - Does not smell as sweet but more floral, but still not like the classic floral scent you often feel from perfumes that can feel a little strong. This fragrance is a little milder than Floral Essences.

In other words, both smell incredibly good and summery, and I will therefore definitely use these this summer, even though I recruit with other brands in between to let my scalp rest :)

Available for purchase at e.g. HERE where precisely these scents cost SEK 69 each.

In other words, for those of you who do not have as oily hair as me (need to use a lot of dry shampoo and almost every day) and who want a dry shampoo that smells wonderful without ruining your wallet, to you I recommend these two from Batiste. Perfect to spray a little at the bottom and smell good in the hair afterwards!

What do you think of Batiste? :)

Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal

I have received a lot of questions about Pixi's different basic make-up products, super fun :) I will post about everything as soon as possible, but I start with what you seem to wonder most.

Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal is another smart multi-product from Pixi that is absolutely perfect this summer ♥

1. Wash your face as usual.
2. Lubricate the face with the colored day cream that contains both moisture, luster and spf 20!
If you have any blemishes or irregularities that interfere, soak a little of the supplied concealer and spread with your fingers.

Then you are ready :) The result is so natural and fresh! And above all, it goes fast because everything is in the same product.

pixi-illuminating-tint - & - conceal

Here you see three before and after pictures. At first I am completely unmade up, on the one in the middle I only have the colored day cream and in the picture to the right I have covered small blemishes and the like with the concealer as well.

Characteristics:
♥ evens out skin tone but gives an unmade-up result (just a little coverage)
♥ Nourishes, soothes and moisturizes the skin
♥ Gives a super nice glow (without looking glittery)
♥ Covers blemishes (as much as you want, with the concealer)
♥ Contains spf 20
♥ Affordable - four products in one, for SEK 369 (day cream, sunscreen, foundation, concealer)

The colored day cream contains, among other things:
Ginseng extract - Has anti-aging properties and evens out skin tone.
Ginkgo extract - Anti-inflammatory, soothing and reduces redness of the skin.
Extracts from Roman chamomile - Anti-inflammatory, wound healing and soothing.
Extracts from Kamelia oleifera - Moisturizes the skin and makes it soft.

The concealer contains aloe vera, Vitamin E and Vitamin C, which nourish and moisturize the skin.

Available in 3 shades that adapt to the skin tone, based on skin light / dark you are. I use the shade Nude Glow as I have already had time to get some color like this at the beginning of the summer.

And in this picture you see how the multifunction between colored day cream and concealer works! There is a concealer on the cork, and if you unscrew it you have a regular tube with day cream :)

Both the concealer and the colored day cream are superb!

Here you see before and after with only the colored day cream. As you can see, the skin tone is much more even and nice, and has a nice glow, but you would think that I am unmade.

Blemishes and such are less visible, but do not disappear completely, so if there are some you want to conjure away, you can dab with the concealer in that area and then spread out with your fingertip and you get an even and nice (and covering) result:

Super easy! Dab and then spread the paint with your finger (and freshly washed hands of course).

Here you see the difference with just the day cream, and then when I dabbled on concealer.

I have used concealer on larger parts of the face, around the eyes and so on, but it is of course possible to just dab a little on a single pimple or similar as well.

The day cream is very nice also under other foundations, I have tested it under mineral foundation and then the luster shines through very nice!

So available to buy at Byher.se.

Summer makeup

Here comes today's step by step makeup, hope you like it! : *

pixi-makeup-tutorial

Start by applying eyeshadow primer to the entire eyelid, Pixi Eye Bright Primer.
1. Blue eyeliner along the waterline, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen (Black Blue)
2. Fade the eyeliner down to the bottom lash line and paint it wider at the outer edge.
3. Mink brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Pixi Lid & Line (Smokey Mink)
4. Minkbrun eyeliner along the upper lash line and outwards for a sharper edge (same duo pencil as the shadow)
5. White eye shadow out of the corner of the eye and under the mink shade, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (601)
6. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara.
Blue mascara on the lower lashes, Zuii Organic Mascara.

The lips are a lipstick + lip pen from a natural brand that I will start selling on Byher.se if everything goes as planned :) Therefore, I do not print out what lip products are.

Same with the foundation, but I have the colored day cream Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal wonder, which gives the skin its fine luster :)

Eyebrow pencil with pen & gel - Pixi Natural Brow Duo

One of all the positive qualities that I love about the makeup brand Pixi, is that their products are so well thought out and practical!

Their eyebrow pencil for example - It has first and foremost a very special (and smart!) Cape that easily creates both sharp lines or a soft filling depending on how you use it. And in addition, the pen also has a built-in colored brow that also gives a light color and keeps the straws in place :)

And besides that, the pen itself is incredibly durable as well, the result is eyebrows that are both rub-proof and waterproof!

IMG_5920_111

Pixi Natural Brow Duo so looks like this when all the corks are on. But if you remove the top, you can unscrew the pen itself:

pixi-eyebrow-duo

The cape is like a triangle, with a very narrow tip that you can paint sharply with, and also sharp edges if you want to use the long sides, and then the "bottom of the triangle" is soft and fine.

pixi-in-sweden

And on the other side you can unscrew an eyebrow brush that comes out of the cream in the sleeve! It is a practical small spiral brush with gel which, without making the straws hard, combs them in place and makes them stay nice all day without lying down in different directions.

The gel is lightly colored to emphasize the eyebrows' own color, and can therefore be used even without the pen if you want very natural eyebrows one day. The difference is thus not so great that one e.g. can use the brown gel on blonde eyebrows to make them look brown.

Here's how I fill in my brows with Pixi Natural Brow Duo:

pixi-natural-brow-duo-tutorial

1. Use the pointed edge and fill in the underside of the brow quite sharply.
2. Turn the brush to the side and work with light movements upwards in the front edge of the edge, so that the edge is filled in without the top side also getting a sharp edge.
3. At the highest point, the straws are often more downwards, and then you can work in the same way with the pen firmly from top to bottom. That is, in the straws' own direction.
4. Use the pointed edge to the end of the eyebrow as well.
5. Brush the brows with the gel, also in the straws' own right.
Then it's ready!

Yves Rocher Nagellack

Now I have tested the durability of Yves Rocher's new nail polish Gel Effect Lacquer (which I showed in this post) and I say two thumbs up!

I had the varnish for six days before I changed, and they were just as nice except for two very small scratches on the top of the right thumb and forefinger (the ones you use the most) and then a small crack in the left thumb that I brutally hit in a wall haha, otherwise they were still perfect :)

So I really recommend them!

Speaking of which, I received a press release home with some of Yves Rocher's new nail polish the other day, so at the same time I thought I would show them to you:

IMG_5445_111

The paint with a dark lid is available in lots of nice colors! They are "ordinary" nail polish that gives a nice shine.

IMG_5465_111

And here you see the gel effect varnish I have at home, 5 classic colors and a top coat.

IMG_5461_111And here are top and bottom varnishes that have white corks.

Yves Rocher's products are available to buy online, and for every order they plant a tree! Shop for nail polish (and lots more) Yvesrocher.se * :)

Hope you have a wonderful start to the week! ♥
