Teaser - New brand on Byher.se!

4

Very soon a new brand will be launched on Byher.se, a natural and very nice make-up brand with incredibly good products, both basic make-up and eye makeup.

This brand is founded by a Swedish woman who basically works with skin care, but wanted to create makeup that is good for the skin and gives a natural result. The make-up brand was first launched in London but is now available in several countries.

The concept is concise "no strangeness", it should be quick and easy to put on make-up in the morning, with products that give a natural and "unmade-up" result, which emphasizes the person's inner beauty.

The brand is already in a store in Sweden, but Byher.se will be the second in the whole country.

Can you guess which one it is? :)

Nordic feel Beauty Tools

A while ago, I got home samples of five makeup brushes from Nordicfeel Beauty Tools, which is Nordicfeel's own makeup brush series!

I have tested them and now thought to share my review :)

IMG_3951_111

Natural Eye Brush* is the one of all the brushes I like the most! Perfect for fading out eye shadows and getting nice tones in the globe line, great for sooty eyes. It is soft but still compact so it can move the pigments at the same time as the thinning becomes soft and fine. Great!

Costs SEK 79, made of goat hair.

IMG_3948_111

SOS brush* is a flat brush that can be used for a few different areas, these brushes for concealer and eye shadow primer are best, I think. Creamy products that are applied to small areas simply. It is smooth and soft, but still has good stability.

Costs only SEK 25 and is made of synthetic hair.

IMG_3940_111

Angled Blush Brush* is an oblique blush brush which according to taste is a little too small for blush, I prefer brushes that are a little more fluffy to get a blush as even and nice as possible. However, this is very good if you want to emphasize the cheekbones with sun powder! Then it's just good that it's a little narrower. I would have liked to have been a little softer as well, but it is still very good.

Costs SEK 99 and is made of goat hair.

IMG_3935_111

Flat Top Foundation Brush* is a round brush that is completely flat on top, and is for applying liquid foundation. Incredibly soft, smooth and comfortable, easy to work with. Great!

Costs SEK 99 and is made of synthetic hair.

Every Day Kabuki Brush (big)* is a kabuki brush which unfortunately does not impress me. It is important to have a very soft kabuki brush for a good result, and to not irritate the skin as you use it all over your face every single day. This is relatively soft when you do massaging circular movements, but I who like to dab a little with the brush where you want more coverage then think that it can feel quite prickly against the skin.

In addition, mine loses a lot of straw, which is not so fun.

Costs SEK 135 and is made of goat hair. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Summary - Good and nice make-up brushes (except for the kabuki brush which I did not like) which do their job and work well for what they are for. The eyeshadow brush became my favorite! On the whole, however, the quality does not feel so high, so I think the price is a bit too high for the brushes over 79 kroner. It does not feel like luxury brushes if you say so.

And I personally try to stay away from brushes with real hair as much as possible. Illogical maybe since I'm not even a vegetarian, but it still feels better not to have animal fur on my face every day :)

Hope the reviews were helpful. Have a nice evening! ♥

Make-up that enlarges the eyes

In principle, every time I have used white eye shadow lately, it has been in very sharp cut crease make-up, e.g. the one I showed you yesterday. But a good white eye shadow is really nice even for softer eye makeup so I thought I would show you today :)

This is a very enlarging make-up that is perfect for you who want to make your eyes look bigger.

Have no step-by-step pictures but I actually filmed so if everything goes as it should, a video tutorial on this will come in the near future. Keep your fingers crossed for that!

Interview - I'm mostly party in the face

4

Uppsalatidningen did a small phone interview with me about "my night out" in the newspaper that came out during the past week, I felt a little quirky talking about my nightlife in Uppsala when I go out so incredibly rarely haha, but they have asked several times about this now I said yes this time :)

The magazine came out exactly a week ago and it is a weekly magazine so I do not think it is out there anymore, but yesterday Miska took it home so I had to look, so have taken some pictures of it and thought to show you if you think it is a bit kul:

helena-rönnblad-uppsala

Was photographed in the morning before I went to Monica at Frisörerna and dye my hair, and therefore did not have any products in my hair at all, that is why my frilla is so flat and boring. Although it may not be the first thing you thought of when you saw the picture, as it was for me;)

Maybe difficult for you to read, here is a more zoomed-in picture of the answers:

Was well teased by my sisters for these answers:

Feels so heavenly cool and "inside", the party pinball number one really! ;)

Got in some beauty talk too! :)

And this is what the front page of the magazine looks like:

Bar hangout with the coolest :)

Now I will go to Creative Make Up and work at the salon all day!

Oriflame CC-Cream spf 35 review

For those of you who are looking for a CC-Cream with a high sun protection factor, I can recommend Oriflame Giordani Gold CC-Cream spf 35 which is semi-opaque and has a sun protection factor of 35, and both UVA and UVB filters.

oriflame-cc-cream-review

Application
The cream is thin and very easy to apply to the face, feels like a regular day cream. Gets even and nice and it goes fast!

Fragrance
Smells quite a lot of perfume, good and does not smell so long, but it can be good to know for you who do not like perfumed products.

Shades
Available in two shades, I have Light, and I think it adapts very well to my own skin tone.

Results
It evens out skin tone and effectively covers red areas, and to some extent also blemishes. Without brightening up the whole face, it also has an illuminating effect around the eyes, which is always nice.

I also have (not in these pictures) powder on the face to fix and get a matte surface, but if you have a dry skin, I do not think that powder is needed because it is not at all sticky or shiny as many other brands can be. It fixes itself quite well and I also do not experience that it folds around eyes and the like before I apply powder.

The cream sinks well into the skin and looks very natural and nice.

sustainability
Not entirely optimal for me with oily skin, but not bad either. It stays good all day, but I have to matte the skin more often than with e.g. mineral pillows. I do not have dry skin at all but it feels on the consistency that it is perfect for you with dry skin without emphasizing itchiness.

Award
Currently costs 199: - (ord. Price 295 :-) for 40 ml which feels affordable. Available for purchase HERE.

Summary review - Perfect cc-cream for you with dry / normal skin who want an even and nice skin tone without covering it completely. Top product this summer!

I like that it comes in a tube as well, feels practical, when it starts to run out you can easily get the last thing out.

In this picture you can clearly see that the skin tone is even, but still natural and with a little blemishes that shine through, you could basically think that I am unmade.

This is a nice border for us with very red areas, if you want an even skin tone and feel "flawless", you can not, like many others, just cover the blemishes if you want to look unmade. Do we cover both the red and the blemishes, you are suddenly so "perfect" that you feel made up. So I usually think that it actually does not matter if a little blemishes shine through if you want to look as natural as possible, I prefer that the red disappears.

And as I said, now I'm talking about looking completely unmade up, which you would like if you are not going to put on make-up with other products. If I make up my eyes, I would like to have a comprehensive base :)

Have any of you tested this CC cream? What do you think of it? ♥
