Yves Rocher Youthful Glow Foundation (Review)

I give most Yves Rocher products full marks, their eye makeup is really, really good and in addition it has cheap prices while they have natural and caring ingredients.

But their basic makeup and I do not really agree as well, and now I have tested one of their foundations that I have not tried before - Yves Rocher Youthful Glow Foundation*, and is unfortunately not impressed this time either.

An exclusive and light-reflecting foundation that gives your skin a smooth, naturally opaque and youthful finish. The pleasant and moisturizing formula contains mother of pearl which is surrounded by rose wax. Unique ingredients that give a silky matt luxurious end result. ”

I think you who have a natural skin type, which is neither dry nor oily or have blemishes, will like this one! It evens out the skin tone very nicely, is easy to apply and feels comfortable on the skin. Reminiscent of a CC cream!

However, it highlighted dry areas on my face, which I did not even know I had! And it certainly did not hold up well when my skin became oily after a short while. In addition, I think it smells a little too strong.

My pimples, even the small ones, were not well covered either, so I had to apply some concealer afterwards. But there is nothing that I think is really negative, because it can be worth it to get a natural result in the rest of the face, especially if you only have a few blemishes.

I got home a little too light shade, but it was possible to save with sun powder. As you can see, the skin tone is even and natural, but the blemishes are visible through.

In other words, you who do not have a problem skin and who want a nice foundation with medium coverage, you can definitely invest in this! But there is nothing I feel I can recommend.

But there is a lot more from Yves Rocher that is really good, and you have not missed that I have a discount code now in March that gives you 20% discount + the nice glitter Loose Pearls on the purchase ?? :) Just enter YRHELENA in the shopping cart!

click here to go shopping - I basically recommend all eye makeup, lip makeup and their makeup remover (the two-phase)!

Kylie Jenner Lip Tutorial (8 Steps for Bigger Lips)

Yesterday I did a Kylie Jenner-inspired make-up, and then it is above all big lips that are in focus! So also thought of doing a tutorial on how to paint bigger lips!

Kylie rarely has ombre lips, but has the same color on the entire lip. But if you, like me, have very flat lips, you also need to lighten up a little in the middle to fake a plut, otherwise it can look a little flat and a little strange.

It is also important not to paint as much outside on the entire lip, because then there will be more clown effect. On the sides, you can go outside the shape mostly to make it look natural!

1. If you are going to paint outside the lip, it can be good to primer with a lip primer or transparent lip pencil. I have painted it on the whole lip + outside. Then it is easier to paint a nice edge outside where you often have a little more pores, lines and straws. I have used NYX Lip Primer.

2. I mostly paint outside on the sides of the upper lip, use a lip pencil for a matte and durable result. A creamy pencil can flow out during the day, and a shimmery / glossy product emphasizes the edge and makes it clearer that you have painted outside the lip. I have used the lip pencil Dr. Hauschka Lipliner in shade 03.

3. Also paint the outside on the sides of the lower lip, but not as much.

4. Fill in the contours around the entire lip. You can on most lips paint a little outside even at the cupid's bow, but if you paint too much here, it easily looks unnatural.

5. Then just fill in the whole lip!

6. It can also be a good idea to paint with a slightly darker pencil in the contours as well, then it looks more fluffy and the fake contour looks more natural. I have used the lip pencil Dr. Hauschka Lipliner in shade 01.

If you already have quite full lips, you can stop here! But if you need to fake more plut, you can also do these steps:

7. Light lipstick in the middle of the lips, dab gently with a brush so that you get a diffuse lightening. I have used Paese Lipstick with argan oilai nuance 35.

Light up with a light concealer outside the lip contour and along the lines above the cupid's arch up towards the nose. This makes the lips look fuller and more prominent! I have used Yag mineral concealer Covers Dark.

Then it's ready! :)

I thrive best in my own shape or possibly just a little bigger, but it's fun to vary! Or what do you think? :)

Hug!

Novelty! Infinatura Cura Oil

Do you remember that I was at a launch event at Berns with Infinatura Cura Oil in January? We met the founder Caroline Biggs who has worked for two years to develop a natural multi-oil that works for both nails, hair and skin!

Now I have been using the oil every day for two months and LOVE IT! It is unbelievably good without being too heavy, it goes quickly into both skin and hair, and my hair, my lips and my dry spots on my legs jump for joy :)

Caroline Biggs has 30 years of experience in skin care and has worked in Japan, among other places, she comes from the UK (where the oil is produced) but works and lives in Spain with her husband. It was super interesting to hear her talk about the oil and all the work around it, I absolutely believe that the very best products are produced by people like this who are passionate about what they do!

The oil contains eight different oils that are carefully selected for as nutritious and fine a mixture as possible. The composition is carefully tested (they made as many different variants as possible before they arrived at the final result) so that the oil would be suitable for both skin care, nail care and hair care.

When I like a body oil or hair oil, I always try to test it for other areas, but hair oils never go properly into the skin and body oils just get greasy and disgusting in the hair - but Infinatura Cura Oil is really WONDERFUL !! It not only fits everything, but it does the job really well too!

The oil is so wonderful that I contacted the distributor and asked if they did not want another dealer, and they wanted it so now it is available to buy at Byher.se :)

The oil contains:
Camellia
fights lines, wrinkles, defects, stretch marks; relieves eczema, psoriasis and itchy skin.
Argan
to revitalize aging skin and hair.
Red Mandarin
to cleanse tired skin and help fight stretch marks.
Bergamot
to treat eczema and psoriasis.
Sunflower
to retain moisture and vitality.
Crambe abyssinica
for natural emollient.
Vitamin E
to counteract free radicals and prevent oxidation.
Geranium
too high anti-wrinkle properties and promotion of circulation.

All ingredients are organic except Vitamin E, which they have deliberately chosen to get as long a shelf life as possible. The oil lasts for one year after opening the package!

Infinatura (1)

The oil costs SEK 399 for a large pump bottle with 100 ml, and is available for purchase here!

In addition to using the oil as it is directly on hair / skin, you can also drip in it in your regular skin care, to get extra nutrition! You can also have it as an anti-aging treatment around the eyes.

I will take some pictures of what the oil looks like in my hand and talk a little more about it soon,

Do you have any questions until then? :)

Kylie Jenner Makeup Tutorial

Kylie Jenner has been very hyped on social media lately, and today I did a step-by-step make-up inspired by her everyday look!

The biggest snack is Kylie Jenner's lips, has she enlarged them or is it just makeup that can make such a big difference - which she herself claims it is if I have understood it all correctly. I do not intend to speculate about it, but have made my lips much bigger and there will be a tutorial on it in a separate post soon :)

Kylie Jenner's eye makeup is often bright on the entire eyelid, softly framed along the crease and lower lash line (often darker under the eyes than the top) and an eyeliner that is very narrow at the inside of the eye, with a wider eyeliner wing at the outer edges.

Super nice! :) Hope you like my interpretation and that the step-by-step pictures are helpful.

The lips are two different lip pencils + a light lipstick in the middle to get more plut.
Dr. Hauschka Lipliner in shades 03 and 01, and Paese Lipstick in shade 35.

The eye shadows are from the trio palette Paese Matte Trio Eyeshadow in the shade 217 Retro!

1. Light eye shadow on the entire eyelid (Nanshy Tapered Crease Brush)
2. Brown eye shadow along the globe line (Nanshy Tapered Crease Brush)
3. The same shade also along the lower lash line, (Nanshy Pencil Brush)
4. Brown eyeliner along the waterline, Paese Automatic Eyeliner (Brown Glam)
5. Black eyeliner with wing, Kryolan Cake Eyeliner (Nanshy Liner Brush)
6. Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara.

Paese Matte Trio Eyeshadow 217 Retro costs SEK 79 and is available HERE!

What do you think? :)

Armani-scented customer skull

No one was happier than me when we got an empty spray bottle from Röhnisch in the goodie bag on Tuesday!

I've been thinking for a long time that I need to get an empty perfume bottle (and still do, this is not the coolest solution) because I have been clumsy and dropped my favorite perfume on the floor, so the spray function does not work as it should…

Giorgio Armanis perfume Armani Code has been my favorite for several years. It's a bit like eggs, I never get tired and always think it's just as good!

It started with the sister having one and I fell in love, then I started buying a fake variant at a small gadget store in Södertälje, it smelled almost the same and cost only 80 kroner! Then when the store closed, it suddenly felt like real perfume was expensive, even though of course it smells better and is better in every way.

But then I got a brand new, super nice, GENUINE Armani Code by Miska as a gift, and I have skimped on it since then, believe me;) relieved that only the spray function broke and not the whole bottle !!

So now it sprays out a thick jet straight ahead instead of a nice spread, and so I have had it ever since. That it should be so hard to just take your thumb out and buy an empty perfume bottle haha!

But now I at least have a bottle that sprays super well and it is so heavenly nice!

But I have not filled it completely, because it is not possible to unscrew the cap on my broken bottle so I had to spray the perfume into the empty one instead of pouring, so it would take a little unnecessary time haha. It still does not look good!

Any of you who have tips on a cheap, empty perfume bottle that is nice too? :)
