Wet Brush Review

If you, like me, find it quite easy to get torn hair, it is good to review your daily hair care routine. Because you may not have the strength / affordability to buy everything in 100% quality and take care of it with packaging as often as you should, etc. But what you do every day, e.g. brush your hair, it should be a priority!

Wet Brush comes from the hair care brand HH Simonsen and is said to be the best and most gentle investigation brush available! And now I also have this at home, yeey! :)

It is gentle and effective thanks to the fact that some spikes are flexible while some are firm. The brush can be used on all hair types, in both wet and dry hair (you should still always be extra careful when the hair is wet!) And you can also use it on extensions.

The cheapest price I can find is on Nordicfeel.se where it costs SEK 135 and has free shipping!

I love this brush! I do not have a lot of problems with tangles, just a little, but it feels like it brushes properly while it feels like it brushes softly.

And in wet hair, there is not at all that annoying feeling that the hair sort of stretches out, as I often get with regular brushes. Or is it just me who feels that way when I brush my hair wet?

And a plus is that it also looks good with its flat shaft! It is also available in more colors :)

Two big thumbs up get it from me! :)

The importance of good makeup brushes

Having good make-up brushes is a must to get a good-looking make-up. Bad brushes are like a cook with dull knives, or a farmer with a weak tractor. I'm not saying you need many, but if you have a few that are good, you will go a long way.

Many people say to me "I do not understand how you can get the eye shadow so nice" but they themselves use a super worn, sticky and messy makeup brush that may not even be suitable for eye shadow from the beginning. Then it will be difficult even for a good makeup artist!

Yesterday I asked my sister Mia if she needs brushes, I will clean mine and throw away the ones I do not use. But she is so interested in makeup and loves products almost as much as I do, so I thought she probably already has good makeup brushes.

Then we started talking about this and she picked up her makeup bag and showed her makeup brush which she uses for concealer:

So oh my god… I can not find any words!

You'll learn to get tear marks on your face from this!I laughed when I saw it. Mia is a confused mother of small children and explained "it ended up on the stove for a while, so I have had to cut a little at the edges" Lol.

You can guess what she said when I started making her up with my brushes “Yyyy how soft it feels !!!”. I thought so :)

But I can imagine that Mia is not alone, or what do you say? Are you careless with your brushes?

First of all, I can say that a brush in principle can not be so worn if you take care of it. Do not have your brushes in the make-up bag, but let them stand in a jar or similar so that the straws do not get messy.

And also, if you are interested in make-up and want to do nice make-up (both basic make-up and eye make-up), treat yourself to nice brushes! It does not matter how good and easy to apply products you buy comes be difficult with the wrong tools! In addition, it irritates the skin if you have like this wear brushes.

A few years ago she also showed me her blush brush, it was even worse:

These pictures give me anxiety! Do you see the crow's nest !? I do not like the word shall, but a makeup brush ska not have a crow's nest I can actually stand for haha!

My sister Malin is a little more careful, but she also said when she bought a kabuki brush from me "I liked Yag minerals foundation before, but now it feels like a completely new foundation!". Because there is a really big difference, not only in the application but also in the result.

I actually experienced the same thing yesterday, Paese has a mousse foundation that I tested this summer's "Paese Matte Foundation" and did not think it was good enough to take into the webshop. But yesterday I tested it and applied with Nanshy Flawless Foundation Brush and thought it was super good! Also as a completely different foundation :)

This is how nice a make-up brush should be :)

In other words, do you want a nicer makeup, treat yourself to nice brushes and take care of them! Especially if they are 10 years old and look like rubbish, throw away, throw away, throw away! It's almost just money in the lake to buy expensive and fine makeup if you have brushes that abuse the skin haha.

And answer yes, I threw Mia's brush and gave her a new one;)

Have a nice Sunday! ♥

The Oscars makeup - Anna Kendrick

Today I have done another make-up inspired by one of the red carpet looks at the Oscars 2015, none other than super good-looking Anna Kendrick!

Hope you get inspired too :)

A shimmery soot in gray and dark gray, with an intense framing with eyeliner. When you zoom in, you see that she is very shimmery on the eyelid, and I chose to also put shimmer in the corner of the eye, could not help it, so heavenly nice :)

The blog has been a bit stagnant this morning, I was working on a blog post but then my sister Mia came and knocked all of a sudden!

I have made up and fixed her hair today because she is going on a cruise, and I thought she said she will arrive at 10, but what she meant was that she will arrive in 10 minutes haha. So I was not really prepared :)

But now I'm done and she's super beautiful and ready for the day! It became an intense slightly smoky eyeliner with cat eye shape that highlighted the eyes, a lot of shading and highlighter and dark lips. How beautiful at any time!

Then I curled her hair too, mixed regular straightener curls with wave curls with my new curling iron which is super good. Will blog about it soon :)

Here is a picture of the result:

We only had time to take a quick mobile picture because she had to pee and I did not have my camera equipment picked up, because I was about 2 hours behind in my planning haha.

But surely she became fine? :) The lips are Dr. Hauschka Lipliner in shade 06 Eggplant.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! ♥

The Oscars makeup - Chrissy Teigen

I know that I am not alone in being inspired by all the wonderful looks from the Oscars 2015, always just as fun and inspiring!

One make-up that I stuck a little extra for this year is the super beautiful Chrissy Teigen, and therefore today's make-up is inspired by her make-up on the red carpet! :)

Dark lips, earthy shimmery eyes, softly marked lash line and a lot of radiance in the skin. Perfection!

And this is what I look like today! :)

The lips are made with a lip liner on the entire lips and then a transparent lip gloss on it:
Pen - Dr. Hauschka Lipliner 06 Eggplant
Gloss - Lumene Wild Rose Cream Lip Gloss (Autumn)

I have used the eyeshadows out of the 3 palette Paese Shimmer Trio Eyeshadow (111)

1. Golden brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid (Nanshy Blending eyeshadow brush)
2. Fade out the shadow with the same brush,
Then used Nanshy Tapered crease brush and apply same shadow along the lower lash line.
3. Light shade in the corner of the eye and under the brow.
Black eye shadow as eyeliner, applied with Nanshy Pencil Brush, Paese cashmere eyeshadow (602)
4. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara.

Busenkelt! Do you like that I print and link which brush I have used, or is it just messy?

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!

I'm going home to my sister's and have dinner and after that we will watch a floorball match with Frida, cozy! And I will drive there and home which is always exciting haha. I've had a driver's license for over a year now, but drive so little so I still have palpitations every time I go!

And it does not feel better that my bus was mechanized to collide with a moose yesterday either, it is kind of the only thing I think of when I drive in the dark and am dazzled by all the encounters "is there a moose in front of me now I do not see it!”. Unpleasant. My bus has collided with a moose before (or rather driven over) and it also happened to my sister when she took the bus here in the hooks. In a bus you are safer, but in a car, damn it!

Now I got anxiety haha I who would just tell you that I will have an incredibly nice Friday :)

Take care of your beautiful ones! ♥
