Everyday make-up 40+

4

Today's make-up is not on myself for once, but today I made up beautiful Maud who wanted a new picture of herself for her website which she is fixing!

Maud has the wonderful shop Living & Roses in Uppsala who sells flowers and furnishings, but in addition to that she is also a "guide" (I do not know exactly which word she herself uses) and helps people with, among other things, anxiety and such problems. But she does not work with the "classical science technique" but more with cell memories, astrology, and things a little more "fuzzy" as many would probably call it. Although I think that such will be classified as science eventually as well! :) And that's the bit the website will focus on the most if I understood it correctly.

I find it extremely interesting, who herself has made a "journey" with Maud as she calls it. I put on make-up pretty quickly as she just wanted to look fresh and fresh on the card, so it was not that much work, but she was still here for several hours and talked a lot about all the interesting things she works with! :) And you know, today you have to think extra hard about how you want the future, the planets are in a special way + that it is a full moon, so it should be very good!

Anyway, she was kind and let me take before and after pictures for the blog, so here is the result:

Beneco's eye shadows

1

Benecos have a lot of different eye shadows, but the ones I really fell for are their Baked Duo palettes with two eye shadows and the Quattro palettes with four eye shadows.

Both of these are available in two different color scales - earthy and purple. And that it was precisely these color combinations that made me happy with Paese's Trio eye shadows, it is precisely the earthy and the purple palette that is most popular among my customers!

All eye shadows are pigment-rich and easy to work with! And as usual (just like with all eyeshadows), I still recommend always using an eyeshadow primer for best results :)

coffee-and-cream

Benecos Natural Quattro Eyeshadow in the shade Coffee and Cream is a perfect mix of earthy shades from light to dark!

The light shade is matte and creamy white - perfect for highlighting both make-up and face (for people with fair skin) because it has a yellow undertone. A chalk-white eyeshadow can easily turn gray if you use it as a highlighter in large areas. But this one is perfect!

The golden brown eye shadow has a super nice shine and luster and has a very nice golden tone that goes a little more to bronze than yellow gold.

The light brown eye shadow also has a nice shine and works both well when you want light elements in a make-up but is also crazy good-looking on the entire eyelid on an everyday make-up! Discreet but visible :)

The dark brown eye shadow has a perfect brown shade in my opinion, it is matte but not completely matte but still has a discreet luster. Works great for darkening make-up or using alone for a nice smokey eye.

celebrate

Benecos Baked Duo Eyeshadow in the shade Celebrate contains a light eye shadow and a semi-dark brown eye shadow.

The light eye shadow is off-white and has a crazy nice glow and gives the eyes a nice glow. Works both for the brown shade, all alone and for all other types of make-up! Very nice both in the corner of the eye, under the brow or on the entire eyelid.

The brown eye shadow also has the same nice luster, but also contains a little small, small glitter grains that look gorgeous on the eyelid!

beautiful-eyes

Benecos Natural Quattro Eyeshadow in the shade Beautiful Eyes contains two earthy shades and two purple! A very nice palette for everyone, but above all highlights green eyes.

The light eye shadow is "gray-beige white" (sometimes you just have super hard to define a shade haha) and has such a nice shine! It is great both as a big part of the make-up or to brighten up the corner of the eye.

The purple eye shadow is a very soft purple that does not get too puffy on the eyelid, and therefore I think that very many will enjoy it both for a party make-up or everyday make-up. It is neither matte nor shimmery but a reasonable middle ground!

The dark brown eye shadow is so good looking I almost collapse! It is intensely dark brown and contains small, tiny golden glitter grains! Great if you want to darken your purple make-up, but also completely alone on the eyelid.

The pink-purple eye shadow is also very soft in tone and goes very well with the purple color for a little more life in the make-up! It is also very nice all alone on a light everyday make-up.

party

Beneco's Baked Duo Eyeshadow in the shade Party are two purple eye shadows, one light and one darker and both are very cold and nice!

The light purple eye shadow is so light that it almost feels a little pink. It has an incredibly fine shine and also contains small, small glitter grains that look super beautiful on the eyelid! Great for everyday but also suitable for parties thanks to the eyes sparkling so nicely with it :)

The darker purple shade is a little more gray-purple, shitty shade both together with the light color, completely alone, or imagine together with a matte black eye shadow when you go to a party. Nice! It has a super nice shine and luster and reflects light very nicely.

Hope you like the colors as much as I do! The 4-palettes cost SEK 79 and the 2-palettes cost SEK 75. You will find all Benecos products here!

Hugs are! ♥

Stylish, organic eyebrows

I thought I would write more detailed reviews and show more pictures of the Benecos products, I hope you are curious!

I start by showing you the eyebrow pencils, and if there is something else you want to read more about as soon as possible, shout out and I will know what to prioritize :)

benecos-eyebrow-designer

Benecos Eyebrow Designer are eyebrow pencils that come in three different shades. They cost SEK 59 and on top there is also a spiral brush that you can brush to the brow hairs with!

To me, a good eyebrow pencil is one that is drier than a eyeliner pencil, but it must not be for dry either. A creamy pencil often does a little too sharp lines and then you have to be very careful to get a natural result, and if a pencil is too dry you have to press hard to get color and then the lines also become sharp.

But Beneco's pencils are a perfect middle ground, if you are light on your hand, you get just the right amount of color and can fill in without it looking painted, but it is also possible to get razor-sharp lines in the places you want it!

The durability is great too and it does absolutely nothing if you get to the brows during the day, they are just as nice anyway :)

Blonde suits you who want natural and bright eyebrows.
Gentle Brown is suitable for you who want medium-dark eyebrows with a little warmth, e.g. reddish.
Brown suits you who want a natural dark, cool shade on the eyebrows.

eyebrow

I have marked out some guidelines for those of you who have difficulty shaping your eyebrows. The most important thing is to pick the brow according to how your straws sit and also according to your own taste, so these lines are not rules but a good help if you do not know how to start!

eyebrows - copy

This image shows where the eyebrow can start and end, as well as where the highest point can be placed.

Inner edge - Imagine a line that goes 90 degrees from the nose wing straight up, where it's nice if the eyebrow starts.

Highest point - Imagine a straight line from the nostril, through the pupil and upwards, where it is nice if you place the highest point.

Outer edge - Imagine a straight line from the wing of the nose, through the outer corner of the eye and outwards, where it is nice if the eyebrow ends.

This picture shows how I usually think with the shape and placement of the eyebrow.

Forms - To get the eyebrows the same and not angry, sad or surprised but just a nice shape, then it is nice if the eyebrows are reactively straight in the inner edges. I usually imagine two parallel lines on the bottom and top and fill in between.

Location - It is nice if the eyebrow is equally high and low in both the inner and outer edge. Or at least that the outer edge does not go down for a long time is the inner edge because then the eyes can look sagging. This tip is especially good for those of you who already have droopy eyes.

My inner and outer edges are not at exactly the same level but the outer edge ends a little higher up than the inner edge. But I like it! It is if it is the other way around that you get a more sad / hung impression.

Other quick tips:

♥ Be light on your hand and do not paint too sharply on the top of the eyebrow. On the underside it can be razor sharp but if you do not want too painted eyebrows, try to get the rest of the eyebrow more diffused.

♥ Do not fill in too strongly in the inner edge of the brow, then it will be light as a small square and also the brows will be a little more angry then. Be light on your hand or even choose a lighter pencil. Fade the edge if it gets too sharp.

♥ If you want a sharp shape that still looks natural, then try not to fill in the brow like a big cake, but leave so that you see some skin between the straws as well.

♥ Brush the straws so that they lie neatly and use a brow gel or similar if they do not stay in place during the day.

♥ An eyebrow knife is great if you want to remove small marks around the eyebrows! Then the eyebrows immediately look more well-shaped.

♥ Does it really hurt to pick? Pick the eyebrows after you have showered, then the pores are more open and it hurts less.

♥ Cutting the eyebrows makes a bigger difference than you might think, brush them down and cut from the bottom, and then brush them up and cut from the top. Use a small sharp pair of scissors.

♥ If you are unsure about this, go to someone who can, preferably a professional salon, and do not test too much yourself if you notice that it will not be good, and do not go to a friend who can not either. Just because a friend has nice eyebrows does not mean that you can do it on others. If you get help with a nice shape, it is easy to keep it at home if you do not want to go there regularly. Saving a wrongly picked shape, on the other hand, is worse!

benecos bryn

I use the shade Brown and this is how nice the eyebrow will be then!

I have my eyebrow tattoo underneath as well, but I usually fill them in anyway because when you wear make-up I like to get them a little darker, but I would not want to tattoo darker because then it does not look as nice when I am unmade. .

Hope the tips are helpful and that you understood everything! :)

Beneco pens are available for purchase here!

Make-up mirror with lamps in the handbag

Last Saturday I was at an event with Infinatura Cura Oil which is a new oil that is launched on Lyko.se today! I have not had time to test it properly yet, it takes some time to test skin care products, but it sounds good anyway and my thought is that why would a mixture of great oils not work well? :)

In any case, it is available for purchase here and now costs SEK 299 instead of words. price SEK 399.

But that was not what I was really going to say, but in our goodie bag at the event I got a fun make-up mirror in a good size for the handbag - and it has built-in lights! :)

The mirror is from the hair care brand Four Reasons, I can not find it on any website, so I guess it might just be a printed advertising item but I think it's very cute! :)

Linda Hallberg posted a post a while ago and wrote "what would you never spend money on?" and this for my part would probably fall into that category if I shop for myself haha. But it's a fun gift and now that I have it, I'm very happy about it!

The lamps are not mega strong but perfect when the phone is dead (otherwise you can shine with it) and you e.g. sits on the bus and wants to double check that the lipstick is where it should be, etc. An "unnecessary" thing that CAN be the savior in times of need :) Or what do you say?

Hug! ♥
