Mirins Copenhagen Body Oil

I really like oils in all their forms, hair oil, body oil, cuticle oil, etc. But I use body oil quite rarely, even though I love the feeling of it, the skin becomes so heavenly soft from a good body oil!

And the reason for this is simply that I think it goes into the skin a little too slowly, a lotion that does not go in super fast is not hard to have on the skin, but to walk around and be oily I can not for many minutes, not even if I use as little as possible.

But Mirins Copenhagen Aromatherapy Body Oil is actually absolutely wonderful! It goes quickly into the skin and instead of it feeling oily in the meantime, the skin mostly just feels nicely lubricated, much like an expensive hand cream when you can not really stop touching your own hands haha.

I have lubricated myself a lot with it since I got it as a press test a while ago!

Mirins Copenhagen's body oil is available in several different variants, but all are based on the same oils and they are apricot oil, jojoba oil and argan oil.

The difference between the different body oils is the scents. They come from essential oils and I have the scent "Purify”Which contains rosemary, tea tree and mint. It does not smell super much I must say, quite mild and fresh and I like that! No scent that takes over as well, but if you put your nose in it, it smells a bit like tiger balm. Must be the mint in the one that makes me think about it, but the scent becomes very discreet on the body :)

The oil is not at all expensive but very thin and runny, and it is nice when you want to spread it on the body and that is probably why it does not feel painfully oily on the skin. I use it mostly on hands / cuticles that I lubricate several times a day, and it works great even though you have to stuff and donate with your hands immediately afterwards.

Bad picture maybe but here you see how runny it is, I would take a picture in my hand but it slipped out and had time to run on the side before I had time to hold my hand in front of the camera :) It was this I happened to have too much of in my hair, because it felt so easy!

In other words, I say two thumbs up! It is available for purchase Rideitbarefoot.com and costs SEK 270.

Hug hug!

Colorful step-by-step make-up

In today's make - up I have used two eye shadows that I love to use together, then they will be the most beautiful! And that is Yag minerals mineral eye shadows in the shades Azul (blue) and Jade (light green), so heavenly nice!

I chose to just finish with a thin layer of mascara, no eyeliner or mammoth lashes, so that the nice colors on the eyelid would come out as well as possible :)

A perfect everyday look even for those of you who are not so used to color and a lot of eye shadows, because the make-up only has color on the top of the eye and it is also light and not particularly bright in the colors!

1. Blue eye shadow innermost and outermost on the eyelid, Yag mineral Eyeshadow (Azul)
Green eye shadow innermost on the eyelid, Yag mineral Eyeshadow (Jade)
2. Fade the edges and blur until you get a nice transition between the colors in the globe line.
3. Black mascara on all lashes, Oriflame Volume Blast Mascara.

I missed it on the close-ups but then I applied some light Annika's Favorite Shadow in the corner of the eye as well.

♥ Tips! This make-up would also be super nice with blue mascara!

Hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Friday !!!

Make-up tips when fading the eye shadow

I had a little conversation in the comments field with a reader, which made me think of a makeup tip that I forgot to tell you. It is a super simple tip that helps to get softer edges when toning out the eye shadow!

Readers - How do you save an eyeshadow that has been faded far too much or unevenly? How do you save the edges without ruining the basic make-up? ”

I - Tops! Tops are super good for this, but use it a bit like a make-up brush, so you should not be harsh and "pull away" the eye shadow because then the basic make-up will follow as well, but smudge gently on the edges just like when you fade out the eye shadow. The difference between a top and a makeup brush is that the eye shadow sticks completely to the top while a makeup brush spreads it out :)

Readers - Oh .. Tested tops but did not think it worked! The eye shadow sat where it sat! Maybe one was too good a primer during ..

And that was the last sentence "Maybe one was too good a primer during .. ” which made me think of this tip. Because a primer makes the eye shadows adhere super well, and that is a positive thing, but it can be difficult to get a soft fade if you have a good primer, because then the shadow adheres a little for good where you want less coverage. And then it is also difficult to save the uneven edges with a top.

What I usually do is apply powder (or an eye shadow that is similar to the skin color) just above the makeup before I start applying the eye shadows. In other words:
Apply primer on the entire eyelid and up to the eyebrow.
2. Apply the shadow / powder on the brow bone and down to the crease line or where your fade will be, but not down on the eyelid where you will do the actual make-up.
Then you can start putting on make-up as usual.

Then it will be easier to get a nice fade, because in the transition between shadow and skin color it will not be as moist of the primer!

I then use such a soft globe line brush (from this brush set) it is also good since when you want to get a soft and nice fading on the eye shadow, then you can fade out with this.

Hope you understood what I mean and that the tip was helpful! ♥

Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair Dry Shampoo

I, Helena-dry shampoo nerd-Rönnblad, have once again tested a dry shampoo that I now intended to review for you! I got it home as a press sample last autumn and have used almost the entire bottle, it is very good :)

The dry shampoo I'm talking about is Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair, and instead of showering when I had my incident with the hair oil the other day, this was my rescue! In other words, it also works for us who not only get a little oily in the bangs but get very oily scalp quickly.

Fragrance
The dry shampoo smells of lemon, which feels fresh and good. I personally prefer dry shampoo that smells as little as possible, but I still like to use this because it is the only time Miska has said "how good your hair smells". Otherwise, he usually finds it difficult with all the fragrance mixtures and sprays I do. It's always extra nice when the boyfriend wants to sniff one in the hair :)

Use
It is not super expensive, but you do not need much to get a good result. The spray is evenly distributed in the hair and is easy to use.

Appearance
The dry shampoo is incredibly effective but at the same time light in the hair. If you have a lot of oil to spray away, it disappears without problems. Also works to have in the lengths if needed (good when I had happened to use too much hair oil). The white powder is not visible at all in the hair, and does not give the greyish effect that many dry shampoos can give, but is also suitable for dark-haired people.

Feeling
Although the dry shampoo is so effective, the hair feels very light, even if you use a lot, and you can pull your fingers through the hair without it feeling rough.

Volume
I really like dry shampoo that gives a little more volume, which this does not give super much of. So I always add a little bit of another dry shampoo to lift up the roots a bit. But not everyone wants the volume effect either and then this is great.

Award
Unfortunately, it is not a budget product, the bottle costs SEK 249 HERE, but the bottle is large (250 ml) and lasts a long time so it is absolutely good for us who use dry shampoo every day!

Summary - Effective dry shampoo for us with very oily scalp that is neither visible nor felt in the hair and gives a good scent of lemon. And despite the relatively high price, it is worth buying as you get what you pay for and it also contains a lot and is therefore long enough!

In other words, Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair gets two thumbs up from me! :)

Light purple makeup with eyeliner

Today's first post comes quite late, I have a bit of trouble with the new computer (typically me, I'm not only bad with technology I have extreme bad luck too) but now I gave up and started my old computer instead.

At least now you get a very nice step-by-step make-up that I like a lot! It is purple without being very colorful and I think many of you would feel great in it :)

The lip gloss is Paese Balm Lip Gloss in shade 621.

1. Purple eye shadow innermost and outermost on the eyelid, Paese Diamond Eyeshadow (17)
2. Light eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
3. Fade the edges.
4. Soot with one matte purple eye shadow along the globe line and the outermost and innermost part of the eyelid, for a little more depth in the make-up, Paese Kashmir Trio Eyeshadow (686)
Also apply a little more of it light shade also in the corner of the eye.
5. Purple eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line.
Finish with black eyeliner with wing + mascara, By Terry Ligne Blackstar eyeliner + Oriflame Volume Blast Mascara.

Hug you and wish me luck with the computer!
