Nyx Powder Blush Rose Garden

In certain periods, I test a lot of products and have lots of new things at home, and then it's like I write the posts "in my head" at the same time as I test everything. This results in that from time to time I am completely sure that I have reviewed some products in the blog even though I do not have it, because I have already written the post in my mind.

This is how it feels with this blush I was going to show you now, I want to remember that I have written about it but I can not find the post / pictures anywhere so I guess I do not have it haha. If I'm wrong and you have read a similar post about this already, you can just stop reading now;)

The blush I'm talking about is NYX Powder Blush in the shade Rose Garden, which is a nice pink that at the same time goes a little, a little in the apricot direction. In addition, it contains gold glitter!

Actually, it is a blush like this that is my favorite, a nice pink / apricot shade even makes gold look natural on the cheeks and you get a super nice glow in the skin! BUT this one contains unfortunately, unfortunately too large glitter grains for my taste. There is a difference between small glitter / shimmer and visible grains, large glitter grains do not look natural or give a nice effect in my opinion.

Otherwise, I think it is super good, nice ash, pigment-rich and easy to apply on the cheeks, so this blush in one of the matte shades is probably absolutely great, I think, but have not tested any of them :)

Kajal tips along the waterline

When I had written yesterday's post about black eyeliner along the waterline and tips about it, I got a comment with questions about sustainability. So I thought I would write a bit about that now :)

eyeliner

1. Choose a good product
How long the durability is and how nice black color you get, it mostly depends on the quality of the eyeliner pen. You will never have to keep a cheap, dry pen along the waterline no matter what you do. The best / most durable pen I have tested is Paese Linea Automatic Eyeliner, it is available in four colors, is easy to paint with and also lasts all day!

Creamy products
A tip that has spread a lot when you google this, is to fix the eyeliner along the waterline with an eye shadow to make it last. However, this only applies to eyeliner pencils that are applied to the skin, I have come to the conclusion after having experimented with this myself, and you should therefore not do this "trick" on the waterline in my opinion. This is because the drier the product you have, the more water from the eye will absorb that product and then it will release even faster! In addition, it can feel dry and uncomfortable to the eye.

In other words, feel free to choose a slightly creamy pencil that instead fixes itself and becomes dry after a while. Because if the pen continues to be creamy, it will also slide around and eventually disappear when you blink.

A tip if you have tested pencils in a store is to paint a line on your hand, if it is creamy you can fade it directly with your finger, but if you let it sit on your hand for a while and it becomes more or less rub-proof after a few minutes , then it is suitable for the waterline.

2. Two layers
If you have a pencil like I recommend in the above points, you will get an even better result if you apply two coats! If you draw many times with the pen directly, you will still not get much more product directly along the waterline, but if you paint once, wait a while so that the pen has time to fixate on the waterline, and then paint again - then the first works the layer more as a base for the second layer and the result will be much more durable!

paese-linea-automatic

It's this pen from Paese which I recommend, both for the waterline and as a regular eyeliner along the lash lines! :) It costs SEK 129 and is available in black, brown, blue and plum purple.

Hugs are!

Black eyeliner in the waterline

Black eyeliner along the waterline is really nice and gives an intense suction in the eyes.

But a common "myth" is that black eyeliner along the waterline reduces the eyes. However, I can not call it a myth at all, because it is a little true, but there is a trick you can supplement with and then the eyes even look bigger!

In the picture to the left, I have only placed the eyeliner along the waterline, but if you (as I have done in the right picture) also fill in along the fringe edge and like to tone out the line a bit, then you "pull down" the eye a bit which makes the eyes see bigger out!

Hope you had a nice weekend and get a good end to the week this Sunday night ♥

Sunday make-up

Today it was a natural makeup! It is quite unusual for me, either I am completely unmade up or I have a lot of makeup. And if I have a little makeup on my eyes, I always have a fun color on my lips instead.

But if I had not blogged about make-up, I would probably have looked like this very often, because my make-up tattoos do the job for me - I have a nice color on my lips and a sharp lip contour. My eyes are marked with lashliner (eyeliner along the scalp of the lashes) both above and below. My waterline is always light so my eyes look fresh, and my eyebrows are always filled.

The only thing I need for a perfect everyday make-up is foundation, sun powder, blush and mascara! And I usually highlight the corner of my eye a bit too, so I actually think about tattooing just because it's so heavenly nice :)

It may not be visible in the picture, but I have a navy blue mascara anyway :)

It's hard to smile with your teeth in the picture, I think, it easily looks like a fake smile. But this is a real smile, because Miska stood behind the camera :)

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
