Golden eyelids

Hello everyone! :)

Today's make-up is neither particularly creative nor unique, but sometimes it is the make-up that can inspire a little extra because you yourself actually have both time and are knowledgeable enough to do the same!

Above all, I was just eager to have golden eyelids for my new nice lipstick :)

Face primer - Paese Makeup Base (Matte)

I have always loved the lipsticks from gloMinerals (or glo Skin Beauty as the brand is now called) and now I still have to say wow! glo Skin Beauty has updated the lipstick range and stepped up its game even more!

What has changed is both the formula, the packaging and many of the colors, so it's almost like brand new lipsticks hehe.

All our shades except Bella have been removed and instead we have brought in 5 new so nice colors! And Bella is of course still there (it's my favorite for bridal make-up!) So in total there are 6 shades in our range.

Packaging
Matt black sleeves of very high quality that feel "proper" to hold. The lid is closed with a magnet, which also feels very luxurious! So nice!

Formula
The texture is very creamy and when it has been sitting on the lips for a while, you feel that the lipstick feels "fixed" and sits incredibly well. It's like no cream that glides around when you talk, drink, etc. But it's still a creamy surface, so they are not like matte lipstick.

It is also incredibly comfortable, it almost feels like you have nothing on your lips at all.

The darkest shade Date Night has a slightly "firmer" consistency because it contains so extremely much pigment. It is neither bu nor bä in my opinion, just a statement :)

Ingredients
The lipsticks are moisturizing and caring for the lips and contain castor oil, sunflower oil, natural waxes, vitamins A, C and E as well as green tea extract.

Application & results
It is very quick to apply these because all colors are solid in one sweep and become even in the pigments immediately, very nice!

Even sharp edges with a brush are easy because the formula is so pigment-rich and glides easily on the skin. I who paint far beyond my own lip think that this is very important because my normal skin has some pores and stuff on it, so if the lipsticks do not slide easily on the skin, it looks uneven and choppy. But these work super well!

sustainability
Even before the update, these stayed on the lips for a long time, but it is especially at this point that I notice a difference from the previous variants! It feels as if the lipsticks are attached to the lips in a completely different way, which is more common among matte lipsticks and not such "classic" lipsticks. So really two thumbs up for durability!

Colors
And now for the most fun - swatch pictures!

Perfect mix of bright, neutral and festive tones. You can not have too many lipsticks, but if I only had these 6 shades, I would have done well, that's how it feels!

Confetti - A very light but soft pink tone
Bella - A light peach pink tone with discreet gold shimmer
Knockout - A warm coral color
Pillow talk - Incredibly useful my lips but better color
Love potion - Pink and very soft tone
Date Night - Deep, dark red-pink

To get even more feeling for how all colors look, I have also taken full pictures of the face when I have the different lipsticks on me :) I think you get an even better overall impression then.

Lightest shade Confetti.

Light pink Bella which is a little darker and a little softer in tone than Confetti is.

Knockout is so nice when you want color on the lips! A soft coral color.

Pillow talk I call a "My lips but better shade", very useful.

Love potion is a nice tone if you want a color that is more visible but still not very dark.

And then this wow color, Date Night! How nice you feel in this one!

And this is how everyone looks on the lips - comprehensive, even and nice!

It's really hard to say a favorite because everyone is so heavenly useful in different ways, but Date Night is the one I personally fell for the most! You do not need any other make-up than this so you are ready to go :)

And the holiday and summer favorite is Knockout, love that coral color!

Summary: The whole feeling of the lipstick is luxury and quality! Both packaging, content and results. All shades are incredibly useful and fine.

Cute & Cool - Gray make-up (Sooting step by step)

This make-up started with me doing my lips in a pretty cute pink tone, which for my blonde hair felt so sweet that I became super eager to complement everything with a little darker sooty eyes :) Like the contrast between light and dark and also sweet and cool!

Brynpenna - glo Skin Beauty Micro Brow Liner (Raven) can get darker but I am so light on my hand, have not had time to take home a lighter pencil than after the hair color change :)

Lip pencil - Benecos Natural Lip Liner (Pink) in the contours.

This pen is so heavenly nice and durable! Also very easy to erase before it dries :) If you, like me, have very oily eyelids, it is always good to prime, but an eyeshadow primer + powder over as well.

Black eyeliner from the bottom of the lower lash line and outwards, Paese Linea Automatic Liner (Black glam)
Also paint along the entire French edge, fade out
And an eyeliner wing, fade out
(I fade out immediately before I put on the other eye, so that the pen does not have time to dry in between)

Summer make-up before & after

This make-up I did on a girl to sit model on make-up demon I will hold at our summer event on 31 May!

I will not do a whole make-up in front of the guests, but most of the time I will have prepared before and just show which products I have used, and then I will finish with 3 nice summer products that I put on during the presentation itself.

I took before and after pictures of her that I can show you :)

BASE:
Colored face primer - glo Skin Beauty Tinted Primer Spf 30 (Light)
Luminous peach golden highlighter - Pixi Glow-Y-Powder (Rome Rose)

EYEBROW:

LIPS:

What I want to push a little extra on in my makeup demo is that makeup should be fun! The theme for the evening is that beauty is wellness :)

Therefore, I want a little color around the eyes but at the same time show that it does not have to be harder than putting a little turquoise under the eye or yellow in the corner of the eye - you do not have to do the worst rainbow makeup just to use color! All this is prepared before the event.

What I will then show on the actual make-up demon in front of the guests is how good the colored face primer is - I will only put on half the face so they can then compare both sides. Because it becomes so natural that you do not understand the wow effect if you can not compare how smooth and even it is on one side compared to the other.

The colored face primer is a great summer product because it has sun protection 30, is matte and durable on the skin and evens out both skin structure and skin tone in a discreet way. But if you are going to gasp in the sun on the beach type, you should of course have spf 50.

For my skin type, I would have needed 4 products to achieve this result on the base - first sunscreen, then primer (for such a smoothing effect) then a colored day cream or semi-opaque foundation (for coverage) and then powder (for a matte and durable result ). But now this primer is enough!

Then I finish with the highlighter with color that is so nice in the summer and then fixing the mist that makes the makeup extra durable - which is also good in the summer especially if you are going to a party and such events and have more makeup on.

We'll see if I might make some changes to the make-up at the event itself later, but still nice to get test make-up a bit :)

Brown and black shadow sooted at the end of the eyelid, the brown is Paese Opal Eyeshadow (caffe latte) and the black is Paese Kashmir eyeshadow (602)

Plum purple eyeliner under the eye and a little on the brownish black at the end of the eyelid, Paese Linea Automatic Liner (Plum glam)
White eye shadow in the outer corner of the eye, Paese cashmere eyeshadow (601)

Clear!

What I like about my light hair now is that the make-up pops up a lot more in my pictures, it's like just focusing on my colorful eyes compared to before when I did this type of look but had e.g. Red hair. Me like!
