Make up pimples

I know I have written about how to remove pimples before, but felt that I had to get something positive out of all the pimples that have popped up in my face for unknown reasons, so now I offer some tips on how to quickly and easily removes pimples without having a thick layer of products on the face!

That's how they come in handy, the little lives;)

The most important thing is not to use too much make-up on the face, it does not look natural or beautiful and the more you have on the face, the shorter the durability often gets the make-up as well.

♥ My first tip is to use makeup that you can apply more / less on in different areas without the result looking uneven. Because even people with a lot of pimples often have areas with fine skin as well, and there you just want to apply light makeup to get an even skin tone all over the face. The areas with lighter coverage will make the whole face look more natural.

♥ My second tip is mineral makeup, it has all the properties in point one, and suits all skin types while it is good for the skin and provides good coverage without looking cakey.

♥ My third tip before I show step by step how I make up, it is to strive for as little make-up as possible even on the pimples. Many people do not want to buy a foundation and two different concealers because it feels unnecessarily expensive with three products. But in the long run it will be more expensive to cover everything with just your foundation, it works, but it takes a lot more product!

Degreasing primer - Paese Makeup Base Matte (SEK 149)
You can have pimples without having oily skin, but often it goes hand in hand. I have a very oily skin and my savior in times of need is Paese's debilitating face primer. It makes the skin silky smooth and keeps it matte much longer!

2. Green concealer - Yag mineral Concealer Covers Red (SEK 179)
What works wonders right away is a green concealer! Green neutralizes red and you only need a little, a little to make the pimples stop shining in the face. I also use it around the nostrils where I am always very red as well.

Enlightening Concealer - Yag mineral Concealer Covers Dark (SEK 179)
A light mineral concealer can be chosen if you want to apply before or after foundation, it is a matter of taste. But when I cover pimples, I usually use it before foundation because then you see more clearly what you are doing.

I also usually use it a bit as a highlighter under eyebrows, eyes and around the lips (as you see in the picture), but the reason why it is good on pimples is because a large dark red pimple stops being red after green concealer, but the darkness is often left anyway. Then you need to lighten up the pimple a little too for it to blend in better with the skin tone.

4. Foundation - Yag Mineral Foundation (SEK 199)
When you have done the basic job so well, you do not need much foundation at all to get a nice and even skin tone all over your face. A thin layer is enough, and possibly you can dab a little extra on the pimples if you think it is needed.

Surely the result will be nice? :)

The brushes I have used come from Nanshy, kabuki brush is available for purchase now but the rest will be in the webshop soon as well!

Goddess makeup

When I made up Frida before the dinner with a Goddess theme last Saturday, she felt great all evening and thanked so heartily the next day, super fun! :)

And because she felt so nice, today I have made a step-by-step description of that make-up for you so that you can be just as nice you too :)

1. Light eye shadow innermost on the eyelid (a little more than half, Paese Shimmer Trio Eyeshadow (805)
2. Yellow eye shadow slightly on the inside of the eyelid, Paese Shimmer Trio Eyeshadow (105)
3. Bronze eye shadow outer part of the eyelid and lower lash line, Paese Shimmer Trio Eyeshadow (111)
4. Light eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
Gold glitter dipped on the entire make-up, Kryolan Glamor Dust (can not find a retailer to link)
5. Brown eye shadow along the lash lines as a discreet eyeliner, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (604)
Gold eyeliner along the waterline, Yves Rocher Waterproof Eyeliner (10 or)
6. Black mascara on all lashes,  Wonderlash Mascara.

I could not show the lip gloss I used on Frida in this make-up because she borrowed it to be able to improve. But I have used Benecos Natural Lip Gloss in the shade Praline!

Fint va? Suitable for both everyday and parties, and is super nice even with a darker lip color! :)

Hugs are ♥

Makeup inspiration at Realitystjärnorna på Godset

0

Have any of you seen yesterday's episode of Realitystjärnorna på Godset?

When I work at home, I usually start different TV programs that I do not take the time to watch otherwise. You actually only need to listen to most programs, so I usually listen to it instead of podcasts sometimes :)

And today I had (like every Tuesday for the past 3 weeks) the Reality stars at Godset in the background, I think it's so much fun! And the only time I take a break from work and watch too, it's the last minutes when they have dinner because it's such fun makeup inspiration! Aina's lipstick in the last episode, huur nice was not it ?? And Zubeyde's golden eye shadow, so heavenly nice !! :) Ideally, I would have combined the details in the same make-up, it would have been perfect!

Surely Aina was great in this lip color? :)

Speaking of something else - Miska says that you see what you are afraid of, and that I who have spider phobia see spiders more often than others because my eyes are drawn to them. Interesting.

I therefore wonder:
Anyone know what Aina has for lipstick so I can run and buy a similar one? :)
2. Was it just me who saw the spider on the wall that appeared in the episode for about a second ????

This is roughly what I looked like when I discovered the little crab, which I wish I had never seen because now it crawls all over my body!

Anyway, now I'm going to go back to my makeup pictures that I was working on before, and very soon you will see today's step by step makeup! :)

Bright nail polish - Pink Bubbles

If you are looking for a bright and fine nail polish, I can recommend LAYLA Ceramic Effect in the shade Pink Bubbles, it is a very nice very bright light pink color that is almost a little white pink.

I can also say that it makes the tan stand out nicely, because when I had this varnish on the toenails in Cape Verde, the feet looked very brown and nice even the first days when you had just gotten a little color :)

I got the nail polish from Highgrade.se last autumn and it costs SEK 99 for 10 ml.

The varnish is opaque, but I have still applied two coats for an even and nice color. The consistency is very thin and you have to be careful not to apply too much because then it can easily flow out a little on the sides. But if you touch the brush a little each time, it is very easy to paint!

My fingers are freshly painted now so I can not comment on the durability more than that it lasted a very long time on the toenails when we were on vacation - but it is not directly much stress when you walk around flip flops and ice creams all day. I can come back to that point :)

By the way, I like this varnish very much, and will certainly use it a lot this spring!

Makeup tips for eyeglass users

I was asked to answer some makeup questions about makeup and glasses by the beauty site Beautykey.se, and since I get glasses-related questions quite often, I of course wanted to help as I know that many find this difficult!

It was published on Beautykey.se today and you will find the article here, and I was actually going to publish this in the blog as well :)

glasses-makeup

I do not have poor eyesight myself but love glasses without strength, super nice!

How to think when you wear glasses and use makeup?
The most important thing is to highlight the eyes and make them shine through, even though you have glasses in front that steal a lot of focus. It is a balancing act - while the make-up is not as visible and you can make up the eyes more markedly than without glasses, there is also a limit where it becomes too much of everything and just looks messy.

glasogonmakeup3

Is it just how the eye makeup is applied that matters or are there good tips when it comes to applying blush, how marked the eyebrows should be and how the lips should be painted?
It's all about getting balance, and then all the details in the whole face play a big role! If you have a lot of everything, the impression can be messy and you feel made up.

The eyebrows easily disappear behind the frames and always need a little extra attention. A well-shaped eyebrow highlights and lifts the eyes, and makes you look more alert. Feel free to try to make as high a shape as possible, it is nice if they end up over the arch as much as possible, and not down to the same height so that they blend into the upper edge of the arch.

The other details can, however, vary depending on each other. Glasses, eye makeup, blush and lips become four details that take focus on the face, and my tip is to make up one or two of the details more discreetly, and focus on the other two. Then you get a good balance! For example:
Wide marked arches and colorful lips - with discreet eye makeup and blush.
Thin discreet arches, light lips - with a darker eye makeup and an intense blush shade.

There will also be an imbalance if you only invest in one area of the face, e.g. thin frames, discreet blush and eye makeup with very colorful lips. But there is nothing that says that there is something wrong with imbalance, it is very effective too! Just a little harder to carry.

How does the shape and color of the frame affect?
My best tip is to look straight ahead in the mirror with the glasses on. Which parts of the eyes are hidden, and which are clearly visible? In the areas where the spectacle frame takes up a lot of space, it can be a good idea to work mostly with light shadows to highlight, and in the areas where it is completely open, you can focus with dark / colorful colors.

glasogonmakeup2

With wide / dark frames, you should be careful not to apply too much make-up, because you do not want the eyes to blend in with the glasses like a big "bluff" but you just want to emphasize the eyes underneath. If you are unsure, apply too little rather than too much, and use shimmery shadows that make your eyes shine!

glasogonmakeup1

With narrow / light frames, you can think a little the opposite, then you can apply a little extra makeup to make the eyes visible, preferably a little darker colors.

glasogonmakeup4

With round frames, many people feel that they get round eyes, it's nice with big eyes, but to avoid the owl feeling, I recommend making the eyes so that they are as drawn out and almond-shaped as possible (by applying the shadow more outwards in outer corner of the eye). Then the glo feeling disappears!

Should you choose frames first and makeup later, or vice versa?
It is entirely up to you, and depends on what you think is most important. If you have difficulty finding glasses you like, you should not choose a pair you like due to make-up tips you read. But do you have a standard make-up that you enjoy and e.g. never go outside the door without a dark sweep around the eyes, then maybe it is better to choose thin and discreet frames. But in general, I think it's easier to adapt the make-up to the frames than the other way around!

Other tips when it comes to makeup for eyeglass wearers?
* Mix light and dark, shimmery and matte eye shadows to create contrasts and more depth in the make-up, then your eyes are highlighted more.
* A light eyeliner along the waterline makes your eyes look bigger and more alert.
* An eyeshadow primer is important if you want to bring out the pigments in the eyeshadows properly, so that they are more visible under the glasses. An eye shadow primer is applied after foundation, before eye shadows.
* A good tip for highlighting the eyes is to use complementary colors - Blue eyes are highlighted by warm colors such as yellow, orange, gold, bronze. Brown eyes are highlighted by cool colors such as blue. Green eyes are highlighted by purple, pink and red tones.
* The basic make-up can often get smudged on the glasses during the day, which destroys both your beautiful foundation and soils the frames. Apply a little extra powder around the eyes when you put on make-up, and improve during the day even if you are prone to getting oily. Then your basic make-up is more "fixed" and will not slip around and get stuck on the frames.
* If you are nearsighted, the glass in the glasses makes your eyes look smaller - work hard to enlarge the eyes.
* A safe card if you want the eyes to be visible properly behind the glasses, it is to use color! It looks good and enlivens the whole face. If you do not like colorful eye shadows, there are many pencils and mascaras in nice colors that you can use, e.g. green mascara on only the lower lashes.

And finally, the most important thing is to feel comfortable, all these tips are to help and not to set boundaries. Make up so that you feel good-looking, then you will also be good-looking!

Hope the tips were helpful! ♥
