Makeup & lip tattoo

This week I tattooed my lips again! Ämma who is Annika's new apprentice got a cancellation and needed someone else to tattoo so then I lined up, mine still needed to be filled in :)

I only made the edges of the upper lip because that was where it was needed.

Actually, I had not intended to put on make-up the days after, you are not allowed to put on your lips at all during the healing and there would still be no nice blog pictures. But then when I woke up in the morning, really sore around the mouth, two huge pimples and fluffy all over my face, then I just thought no this year is not haha.

I had slept a little longer than usual so that I would not really put on make-up, so I had to prioritize breakfast for a quick base, brow, mascara and in fact as enormously illegal as I am, I put on my lips too! But with clean, hygienic products of course.

This is what I looked like then:

If you ignore my stiff scab lips, I actually think it's shitty with a hoodie, updo hair and then red lips on it!

Miska looked at my lips and said “But your lower lip is really beautiful! Is it ombre? ” I have used 4 different products only for the lower lip haha, may do a lip tutorial on this later when it is healed;)

I had to tell everyone at work that it's hard to smile as usual when you're stiff on the upper lip, so they would not think I'm the worst stramis haha.

It does not hurt at all to tattoo the lips I think, in some places in the beginning it stings a bit but in the end you are so numb (the anesthetic takes better the more holes you make in the skin) so then I was falling asleep.

During healing, it is a bit difficult, however, most people know what it is like to have dry lips, this is like a scab on the entire lips. It starts flaking on the 3rd day for me then on the 5th day it is usually ready-flaked. But now we only did the edges of the upper lip so the healing feels much better than the times before! :)

December is here !!!

Here is a make-up that suits all occasions of December, I imagine Christmas table, Lucia celebration, on Christmas Eve etc. and also on New Year's Eve!

Nice gold shimmering tones on the eyelid and matte red lips, yummy :)

A makeup that is easy to wear with warm tones and distinctive eyes without being particularly dark in its entirety.

Love the different shifts on the eyelid, got really nice with the peach golden eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid and gold in the middle! I have also brightened up a little in the middle of the eye just above the eyeliner + in the corner of the eye and it enlivened the whole make-up I think :)

Gold eyeshadow in the middle of the eyelid, glo Skin Beauty Shadow Palette (Mixed Metals)
Silver-white eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid (only at the bottom) and in the corner of the eye, Paese Opal Eyeshadow Trio (Ice queen)
Burgundy eyeshadow at the end of the eyelid and along the globe line, glo Skin Beauty Shadow Quad (Rebel Angel)
Fade the edges and add some of the peach golden shade to the fade.
Black eyeliner with wing, Paese liquid Eyeliner
Peach golden eyeshadow on the inside of the eyelid, a bit of the silvery white under it and the burgundy brown on the bottom of the lower lash line.
Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Quick make-up that lifts the gaze

Here is a make-up that is quick to do, suitable for all occasions and gives an invigorating and uplifting look!

I wore it as a natural everyday makeup on a Saturday at work and talked to a customer who thought it was a party makeup for her. It really is a matter of habit and a question of definition about what is a party makeup and what is an everyday makeup :)

Nice colors huh? :) I have used all but the terracotta-colored.

The fact that the eyeshadow goes up at the outer edge as a cat eye shape and that I only have eyeshadow and mascara on the top of the eye means that you get a lifting effect from the make-up.

Swatch - glo Skin Beauty Lip Pencil (8 shades Lip Pencil)

Here is another swatch post with one of our news in the webshop - glo Skin Beauty Lip Pencil! :)

gloMinerals has had lipsticks in their range all the time, but I have chosen not to sell them because they did not really measure up in my opinion. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised when I now tested their brand new series of lipsticks with a completely renewed formula!

The lip pens are classic pencils that are sharpened and are available in 8 shades!

The lip pencils are a good middle ground between creamy and matte / dry. What I am looking for in a lip pencil is a texture that glides easily on the lips but then becomes completely matte, which fits in well with these. There are many lipsticks that are so creamy that it is like a lipstick in pen form, and then there are some (like gloMinerals were before) that are so dry that they are difficult to get even lines with. But these are the perfect middle ground as I said!

The lip pencil cares for the lips and contains antioxidants, moisturizing jojoba oil and vitamin E.

Look how nice!

I have not taken swatch pictures on my lips yet because it takes quite a long time, but it is something I have planned. Here, however, are a bunch of links with make-up where I have used these lipsticks!

Update - L'Oréal Paris Colorista Washout after washing

I promised you an update on the durability of L'Oréal Paris Colorista Washout after washing. I have used the shade #TurquoiseHair, read the whole post about the product with before and after pictures here!

Now I have washed my hair 3 times and there is still a lot of color in the hair left, so it really lasts really well! :)

Then whether the durability is positive or negative is a question of definition, I probably would have preferred it to be completely gone after 3-4 washes because I only wash my hair once a week. It says 2 weeks on the package (depending on how often you wash your hair) but 10 washes is 10 weeks for me haha.

This is what my hair looks like now:

The lightest loops are still turquoise, and the darker blonde tops that have more warmth in them are starting to go greener.

I got a lot of feedback from others who tested these colors, one of which got purple pigment when it started to fade. I talked to a press contact about it and she said that it is not completely uncommon in turquoise products because they often contain purple pigments that on some can release later. However, my hair has not turned purple at all, I would have liked it by the way :)

The packaging says that it lasts 4-10 washes, but there is no guarantee that it will disappear completely if you have very bleached hair that absorbs a lot. So I'm starting to get a little nervous that it will not disappear completely before my hairdressing time in January haha.

As you can see, each wash disappears a little at a time! It looks a bit flammable in the last picture now but it does not look crazy at all in reality I think.

The first two washes, the whole shower water became as turquoise as the hair, I kind of had to scrub the bathtub afterwards haha. Now it gets a little gray-green-dull just so it is noticeable that it does not come off as much, but you can still see that it comes off.

It did not let go of my hair completely until I bleached it off at the hairdresser. But I tested L'Oréal Paris Colorista Washout in the pink and yellow color of my nephews and those colors were completely washed out.
